For those of you who don't read MM, I have a crazy interview situation going on that you could chime in on. Applied for the job last Wednesday, it closed Friday. They emailed at 5:30pm on Monday to see if I could do a skype interview on Wednesday. The skype interview went well yesterday; so well that they emailed at 6:30pm last night to ask if I could come over on Monday for an on-site interview. Uh, that's a 1,000 mile road trip on 4 days notice. Not to mention, I have a conference this weekend that I'm a major speaker at! Not only can I not handle a road trip like that right now, at 7 weeks pregnant and nauseated (OF COURSE this is when my nausea finally shows up), but with 4 days notice I feel like I don't have tim eto prepare for the interview!
I would tell them that you have a previous obligation to speak at a conference and ask if you can schedule it for a later date. Surely they can understand that. Is flying not an option?
So C has started using pooping as a stall tactic at bedtime. We do one last potty trip, and he'll be like "I have to go poop!" and he does, and it just keeps coming. Like, 20 minutes of "I'm not done yet (plop)" over and over again. I can't really take him off the potty mid-poop, and he knows it, and he seriously just keeps going and going and going.
Going to my working moms group, Moms night out tonight. I'm hoping I can manage to stay up late enough, that the new babysitter works out and that I have enough to talk about with the other moms.
I was just going to message you. I won't be able to make it. We are having a surprise birthday party this afternoon for one of my closest work friends so my mom is staying late for that. H won't be home until who knows when tonight.
I hope you have tons of fun! Let me know how it goes.

totally agree with this. Don't feel like you have to take their first schedule.
K has a horrible viral rash that popped up yesterday afternoon so we are staying around the house today. She's happy, but her whole little body is covered.
hoping DS's medicine is starting to work and that we'll have a better day today. I have to go to the Sprint store in a bit to get my new phone. the camera on my less than a month old phone is jacked, so they ordered me a replacement.
holly116 ... um, what's the bell for?! I mean, I realize he won't be able to talk in the beginning, but when I had my tonsils removed my LEGS STILL WORKED. lol
We're going to Maine for a wedding this weekend. Baby's first plane trip! We didn't really think through the timing of a 6 am flight though, so we need to leave here at 3:45.

He's going to be soooo out of it with all the pain meds. So he claims. I think I'm just going to be out of the house as much as possible.
DS practicing his cheeeesssee face for picture day today. Hoping the photographer manages some sort of voodoo to get toddlers to sit still AND smile at the same time.
ETA: Ooops, I suck with pictures on Tapatalk. Sorry MMM!

The world does not want me to lose weight. I went to the gym for my hour long class this morning. I lasted 20 minutes before the gym daycare pulled me out because DD was melting down too much. (She has yet to make it through an entire hour.) Then, when I got home, there was a freaking Entemans truck parked directly in front of my house, complete with pictures of yummy donuts on the side. Now I need donuts.

A part of the small tear is not healing (stitches fell out early) so I have to get it fixed tomorrow she said she would give me a lidocaine shot but the procedure sounds awful!

Boo. I am sorry. I think the lidocaine shot should make it okay. Did you get lidocaine during the initial stitches? I know I couldnt really feel anything after the shot. THey numbed the area before the shot.

DS2 had his 2 month appointment today (5 days early, so he could get his 2nd HepB). He weighs 13lbs 2 oz, which means he has gained 6lbs since his lowest weight after birth. So chubby! He is wearing the clothes DS1 wore at 6 months. He is in 80% for height and 75% for weight. It is weird since DS1 was I think 5% in both at this point. So funny that they are so different.
HE got a bunch of other shots today and I feel bad for him. I think he is just going to sleep all day poor dude.

I know I got a shot but don't remember if she numbed it before...they didn't hurt much once a minute or two passed and the medicine kicked in.
Eta - actually she did give me lidocaine gel to use pp so I bet she will put that on before the shot

I'm so happy the boys schools are within walking distance. DD was asleep swaddled in the swing when we needed to leave to take DS2 to preschool. So I was able to just pick her up and put her in her car seat still swaddled and snap it into the double stroller. I got a nice walk in and we got home and she's still sleeping. I'm sure if I had had to unswaddle her and actually strap her in she would have woken up and been screaming the whole drive and drop off time.
