It is clear here so we got a great view over the lake. It totally disappeared around 10:05, probably due to the fact that I'm fairly north compared to cities with estimates I've seen.

We just got back. It was a dull red/brown/grey color and there wasn't a crisp shadow boundary at all. It was a little underwhelming.
I think there was still too much residual daylight here in Portland. We went to the field at the local highschool and the street lights were so much brighter than the moon that I didn't even notice the moon at first.

We walked to the elementary school down the street and had a great view. Clouds didn't roll in until it had been covered for a good 30 minutes. Very cool experience.
I'm so jealous. I love this stuff. I set my alarm for peak time, 445a, just in case it wasn't too low in the sky already. But there are high peaks to the west obscuring it.
But I'm not really jealous because there are high peaks to the west, and I'm in gorgeous austria. Hi!
And the full eclipse pushes the limits of my camera especially since I couldn't find my tripod and our neighborhood has way too much light pollution. (likely not all stars...dust on my sensor)
