I gain in my butt and thighs. My boobs went up a cup size really fast this time too. I gained 35 lbs with ds1 and so far I'm up around 20 with 10 weeks to go. It is always depressing to knee that he baby only is like 2 pounds of that hahaha.

My company's maternity leave policy freaking sucks. I work for a big national lab, and generally our benefits are good, so I wasn't expecting this. I can use my sick time (5-6 weeks), and then STD is 12% of my normal paycheck. Twelve percent. Woooo.

That is laughable if it wasn't so sad. Do they cover your health insurance when you are on STD at least?

I've mostly just gained in my belly.
My vent is I hit a deer on the way to work. It could have been much much worse but my poor car. The dr said I didn't need to come in since the airbag didn't deploy and I didn't hit my belly on the steering wheel. She's been active today so that makes me feel good.
Yes, definite weight gain in the thighs/butt! I had to order new underwear. :? It must be all those milk stores - you know, the ones currently leaking from my nipples? Haha. My weight fluctuations usually all happen in my belly, so it's new having it in the thighs. I'm definitely getting thigh chafing when I wear skirts. Body Glide is my friend.

I don't know, I'm on DH's insurance because it's the same benefits but cheaper. (We work for the same company, and it's based on salary, but I make a little more than him.)
I can't stand to wear basically all of my pants right now because I hate having anything put pressure on my stomach. It's frustrating because I haven't gained any weight yet but I've effectively sized myself out of all my pants. I hope I get over this phase soon.
I was like this too. The bloat was for real. I looked bigger at 10 wks than 14! It evened out for me, but I never got back to my regular pants. I can't stand the pressure on my stomach.
Yeah today especially it was unreal watching my "bump" inflate over the course of the day. Which of course means it's just bloat, lol, but it's tough to dress for it!
My weight is in my butt and thighs and my arms got a little bigger, I'm somehow less bloated this time around though, my face still looks the same. At the beginning of my PG, I was in medium maternity, now I'm in L and XL - I feel like I've gained a lot more number-wise than I look like I do. I'm trying not to stress/obsess about it. I was fortunate that it came off really quickly last time, but I'm not expecting that again.
I have a question, but don't want to make a thread for it... I just entered second tri and I have been so constipated for weeks. I try all the natural stuff like walking, fiber, water. I took colace once. The last two mornings I have have dripping fresh blood in the toilet. It freaked me out at first. So, should I talk to the doctor or nurse about this.
july -- I think anytime you are bleeding at all it's absolutely necessary to call your nurse/doctor ASAP. Have you had bleeding or spotting earlier in this pregnancy? Sorry I don't remember your details, but I would check it out very soon. Hope everything is fine and boo for the constipation. Not fun.
