I used to get an entree (never found one that wasn't mediocre), but then realized that really, all I wanted to do was fill myself up on breadsticks so now I go for the soup/salad/breadsticks meal. That makes me a very happy camper.

The fried shrimp is good. If done right, the chicken scampi is decent. The last few times I had it, it was bad, so I've mostly just gotten the fried shrimp whenever I go now.
The lemonades are good, not that they are going to fill you up, but I thought I'd give them a plug.
Last time we went, we ordered Smoked Mozzarella Fonduta as an appetizer. It was really good! It reminded me of an appetizer that my favorite Mexican restaurant has.
The Black Tie Mousse Cake is good.
For the meal...I honestly don't know. I usually get the lasagna and end up disappointed.
I got the pasta fagioli soup. It was fine. I was going to get the zuppa tuscana or whatever until I saw kale. I hate that shit, lol.
I had a bite of my mom's "really good" five cheese ziti. I think I made the right call. I did still consider going all out for the tour if Italy though.
And, to clarify, I'm not a food snob. I'll eat McDonald's and other fast food any day of the week.
Only thing I like is the soup, salad and breadsticks. Pasta e fagioli and chicken gnocchi are my favorites. They get so damn stingy with the breadsticks though! Give me my carbs!
It's fine, I got something with an olive oil based sauce when I went after a triathlon a few weeks ago. Embrace your inner suburbanite and enjoy the unlimited bread sticks

The Alfredo is good if it hasn't been sitting under the warmer forever. You know if it is already separated when it arrives in front of you that it won't be good. <sob> I love me some Alfredo.
Years ago some friends and I went to OG for lunch, and one of them got a combo of Zuppa Toscana/Pasta Fagioli soup. I've ordered my soup the same way ever since. I'll also do some damage to some stuffed mushrooms. One year I bought an entire Tiramisu to use as my birthday cake. I love their Tiramisu, no shame.
I always get the "STUFFED chicken marsala". It's different from the normal "chicken marsala" and not on the menu. I worked there about (omg) 10 years ago when it used to be on the menu and got it all.the.time.
I have the Fagioli and Toscana soup recipes. Yummy.
Mmm...now I'm craving some stuffed chicken marsala.
ETA: So after posting this, I decided to google the marsala recipe. Had no idea OG gives away all their recipes. No wonder Darden Restaurants are suffering. Now I'll just make my own.
I usually just get the pasta fajioli (or however you spell it) and salad if it looks fresh. It's not the worst chain restaurant, the entrees are just really heavy to me.
