Do you want color, moisturizer and sunscreen all in one? Is that why you got the BB cream? That's a heavy recipe for people with sensitive skin like us.
I want whatever will be easy and make me look younger.
This probably does not exist. LOL.
But the crazy thing is that I've been tested for allergies to parabens, sulfates, various fragrances, etc.
I really like Shiseido Urban Defense tinted moisturizer. Not a BB, but you can buy at Sephora so it's super returnable. And I break out from every BB I've tried but not from the Shiseido. It's a great sunscreen too (which you should be wearing for age prevention! )

The MUA that did my makeup at my wedding used Glo makeup. It's a mineral based product and had great coverage. It felt so light and natural in my skin. I'm normally a MAC girl and I'm definitely going to be buying some of their products. It's only sold in day spa salons but if you don't mind driving to Claremont the sell it at the Claremont Club. www.gloprofessional.com/
Ugh. I've had good luck with the Too Faced BB cream. My skin used to be terrible, and I still have boughts where it sucks (especially on all these freaking IVF hormones, bleh), but its practically GOOD when I am consistent about using it.
I do agree that it is trial and error though. I know you said you don't like American products, but if you can go through Ulta or Sephora at least you won't waste money, cause they'll take it back if it makes you break out.
Oh, bummer. This happened to me when I tried Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, even though at the time I was using LM foundation without issue.
That's why once I find something that works, I'm hesitant to try anything new even if it might be better just because I hate throwing money away on it.
I hope you find something that works! I would check Sephora to see if you can get samples or smaller sizes of any new products before making the full investment.
I'm asian and have a hard time with skin tone too. Everything makes me breakout.
I'm am loving bare minerals ready foundation. I use R330 which is a golden shade for foundation and Tan 2 for the concealer. It evens my skin tone, covers the darkness under my eyes and I never break out from it.

I think I'm sort of over American products. They don't seem to match my skin tone well.
But then this Korean thing didn't work out either.
So.
Harumph.
I'm part Italian and a tad older than you, I use Maybelline age rewind in sandy beige. I apply it by sort of buffing it on with a kabuki bush. I have eczema but this hasn't irritated my skin.
I have issues with breaking out too. I have had good luck with my hera cushion. I got it on memebox.com. Since then they got the sulwhasoo cushion so I want that one more.
I have sensitive skin that's dry but also has an oily tzone and I really love the garnier bb cream. I have fair skin and use the lightest one they offer. Trying out new facial products can suck.
p.s. lilcee8 gave me some samples of missha cc cream when we all last ate together. some are WAY too light for me but might work for you. i'll pass them along to you next time we meet so you can try.
And I figure better for me to use stuff made by Asian people for Asian people?
fek. i ate my own post by editing it instead of posting another for the p.s. (yes, i am drinking.)
anyway, i said that korean bb creams aren't necessarily the best for sensitive skin. they tend to be oily (they lurve the dewy look) & heavily scented. no bueno. you need the asian stuff made by the asian people for the asian-ly sensitive skin.
my current faves are cc creams in an air cushion. don't worry. it doesn't gush like a murakami sculpture's boobs as illustrated here.
this shit expensive stateside, but luckily my mom brings one back every time she goes to korea. i bet it's still expensive there, but i don't know what she pays. maryanne can probably show you less expensive brands. i find this cushion WAY easier to apply than stuff from a tube. you can put less on at a time and layer it gradually.

Aah, I missed drunk tater. Waah!
I agree w/ everything she posted, though. Oh, and I also LOVE the Iope cushion compact. But, the fragrance might be too much for your skin.
I have read some great reviews on a Korean brand called Klairs and their BB cream is for sensitive, dry skin types. I haven't tried it myself, but have read positive reviews for it. I think it only comes in one shade and I just read the ingredient list and it contains fragrance, too.
Anyway, they sell it on Amazon if you want to check it out!
This is not a bb cream or Asian brand rec, but I really liked Jane Iredale pressed mineral foundation. It was easy to apply and evened out my skin tone. It's kind of pricey for the small amount you get, but it is probably gentle enough for your skin as it doesn't contain fragrance or a lot of the common irritants found in other base products.
Also, dumb question but you're removing before bed, right? I use Garnier makeup removing cloths that are like $5 for a pack that lasts almost a month. Just making sure I'm removing everything before bed helps my complexion a lot. I used to be really lazy about washing my face before bed so these have made a big difference.
