Groupon has this too right now, but it is actually $2 cheaper. I just ordered the 70 card deal. I used them earlier this year for DS2s birth announcement (also used a Groupon). I thought the quality was very good.
have you ever ordered from them before? I like some of the card styles, are they decent quality?
Yes, I was very happy with the quality. I used Minted last year because I got a great deal, but I used Photo Affections for three or four years before that.
I'm so hesitant to do this because I did a groupon for Zazzle last year and hated my cards. BUT, they are like a 1/10th of the cost of Shutterfly and I can guarantee no one else will send them...hmmm.

Does it really take 2-3 weeks to get the cards like it says?

I usually get mine in about 10 days. I tend to order early, though -- I'm guessing the later in the holiday season you order, the longer it takes, because everybody else is ordering then, too.
Also, WHICH cards do I get 70 of for $27.99? I can't find exactly which ones I can choose from. I mean I imagine they have a limited selection and it's not just a pick whatever from the website situation!
Ok with the groupon code, I just got 70 cards for $22 plus 6% cash back. The order I have waiting in my Shutterfly account was $113 for 50 cards and I was waiting for a 50% off coupon. This is a steal.
ETA : spk926, I'll let you know as soon as I get the groupon to come through. That was my gripe about Zazzle last year, I had like 10 cards to pick from, and none were ideal.

I believe it was Zazzle that I used last year and didn't like - they had a very specific selection of cards you had to choose from if it was from the Groupon. With the PhotoAffections groupon it appears as though you can use it on any cards. However the fine print says this
"Good only for singlesided photo cards on photo paper or photostyle cardstock. Premium cardstock (doublesided)available for an extra charge"

Any holiday photo card.
wow, really? that's pretty great, they have some nice ones. I think I am going to pull the trigger
Thanks for sharing, this is such a great deal! I kind of also like that I'm now locked in to ordering from one site, otherwise I end up spending hours and hours poring over the selection on numerous sites, and it gets to be overwhelming.

Is there a code? Are you saying it's $22 because you're factoring in the 6% cash back or are you only paying $22? I see it for $27.99 so I wanted to see if I was missing something.
I have to think anyway because these are single sided and this year for our mini session we aren't bringing the dogs so DH and I said we would just include a picture of them on the back because they've always been on our cards since we got them 7 years ago and are just as much part of our family as everyone else. It wouldn't feel right not to have them included. So I might have to just sit this one out anyway and wait for a shutterfly or some other code and pay a couple dollars more. We'll see what I decide!

This post had me sign into my groupon account and realize that we have three Indian food vouchers expiring TOMORROW. So I guess we'll be eating all the Indian food now lol.

Thank you - just bought the Groupon deal! I checked my Shutterfly order from last year and I paid over $50 for 50 cards. Just paid $14.39 for 40 cards. Now to work on getting a good picture to use!

I'm pausing at the single side fine print. I like overloading my card with as many photos as possible on the back lol. Anyone know what they'll additionally charge for the double side?
I did a most blank zazzle template last year and thought it worked just fine. I mean their software is a major pita but they're so cheap, I'm tempted to wait on their deal. Zazzle will almost certainly have a deal this year, correct?
Thanks for sharing! I used them for our birth announcement/holiday card combo last year with a Groupon and was very happy with them. I'm pretty sure I had the option to add stuff on during checkout too if I wanted to pay extra, for anyone worrying about the fine print and limitations.

I'll answer my own question, there is already a zazzle deal on groupon now. It's a tad more expensive but I think I have to go for the shitty software that lets me add additional photos to the back of the card for no additional charge. What's the use of getting professional photos of the kids done if I can't inundate everyone with all the photos?
