My H's day to get up with the kids. Guess what the baby is doing right now at 7:51am? Still sleeping #typical
Same situation here. It was DH's day to sleep in yesterday, so of course DS slept in until 7 (amaaazing for him) and I got DD when she woke at 7:15, DH slept until 8:30!! Today was my day to sleep in, so of course both kids woke up crying at 6:15. Since DH obviously can't BFed, I had to get up to feed DD. #typical
We all slept in until 7:45 this morning. I hope this next baby is as awesome of a sleeper as DD is and has been. I bought a new iron yesterday and I'm kind of excited to use it when I iron our outfits for our photo session today. This is what my life has become.
I'm up nursing DD2 and hoping she will doze again for a little bit. Everyone else is asleep still. She keeps ripping these forceful farts so I am not optimistic. I must nail down a christening lunch location today. MUST.
Quoting myself because my evil plan worked! I snuck out of the baby's room quickly after feeding her at 7. And she's just starting to stir now at 9! Not sure when DD1 woke up but I know DH will tell me all about how tired he is. Last night he told me he's incapable of sleeping through the night in hotels (after coming home from a week-long business trip). Oh poor DH.
DH left for another business trip S-Th, he was gone last week S-F and will be again next week. Then there is a week in Nov and 10 days in Dec he will be OOT as well. I am thankfull DD is in school during the day because solo parenting is hard! Hats off to those who do it on the regular.
We are also planning on moving back to the States at the end of the year...so I guess I will be planning that alone. I have already started selling/donating things, but there is a lot to go.

Older kids are the best. DS2 woke us up around 8. He came in to snuggle and I noticed he was wearing different PJ pants than he had at bedtime. Apparently he dripped on his pants when he got up in the middle of the night to go potty, so he changed his underwear and pants and went back to bed. Rock on kid!
Then I heard DS1 rustling around downstairs, making himself a bowl of cereal before firing up Minecraft. Aaaahhhhh, yay Sunday morning.
DH just offered to shave his beard for pictures. I don't know what I want!
All professional family pictures we've done he's always had a beard. I like him with a beard and assumed it was staying. But now that he suggested shaving I just don't know.
I got outed on FB last night. One of my girlfriends asked if she could post about the baby and I said we haven't told people it's a boy, thinking that's what she was referring to. Nope said 'happy bday, can't wait for #2'. She did ask and I told her but just misunderstood. Is it rude to remove the tag?
Ugh, I spent 10 minutes throwing up in my car this morning as I was getting ready to head home from work. I am hoping this is just early morning sickness and not that nasty stomach flu that has been going around.
DH just took DD to church and I am heading to bed. I really wanted to go but I am so exhausted I can hardly keep my eyes open. It was a long night.
Sleep woes here too. Why is it that when kids go to bed late (9:30pm) they wake up earlier than normal (6:35am)? Shouldn't it be reversed?
I was also informed last night that Christmas is at our house for my family, which is AWESOME! No traveling for us, woo! Except we move in on December 1 and I start a new job December 7. Whatever, we can roll with it.
After teasing me Saturday night with awesome sleep, the baby went back to short stretches last night. Plus, I stayed up late during her longest first stretch of 4 hours, so after feeding her for the second time I passed her off to DH at 4am. It's now 7am and I just woke up on my own, so she must still be sleeping with DH.
Ahhhh, I feel so much better. We have a long day of church, football at a friends house and dinner with our families tonight. So I'm happy I got some sleep finally. Although, I'm sure DH will be complaining about how tired he is even though he got a solid 6 hours before I gave him the baby.

My mom went to the ER with pain on tues. They ended up doing emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction and she has been in the hospital since. I FOUND THIS OUT YESTERDAY!!!!! I'm seriously pissed that my stepdad (of 27 years, so it's not like it's somebody who doesn't know me) didn't bother to tell me. I'm going to wait until mom is better and out of the hospital to have a serious conversation about this with both of them. My older brother doesn't know yet and my mom is supposed to babysit for him for a week in 3 weeks time, which she won't be able to do. I asked he if she wanted me to tell him and she said know, she would do it. I wished I wouldn't have asked because now I feel shitty if I tell him when she said not to, or if I don't tell my brother that mom had a life threatening condition and is now hospitalized. My younger brother, who is stepdad's actual son (not his stepson) was told. Seriously, where does all this crazy come from?!
I'm hiding in my kitchen from kids... Dd1 and my nephew(6) are playing in the living room. I've had to threaten them with playing in the garden if they don't STFU cos dd2 is napping right over their heads. And my niece(13) is in with them. He doesn't know how to talk quietly.
Also, he is the fussiest eater in the world. Like ever. Doesn't eat sausages (it's an Irish thing), any veg except potato, pasta with ketchup on it (although he likes both pasta and ketchup!), sandwiches are out (he had bread with ham beside it), refused our (own brand) Cheerios (no box in sight), had dry toast this morning because I wouldn't let him have Nutella at 9am (my girls would have wanted it too and that wasn't happening), refused meatballs last night. He had better eat the roast chicken later that his mother said he would eat. Though I'm sure he'll have a problem with my potatoes because they are t the same as his mum's.... I hand him over to my dad at 7pm today...
Did I mention dh left at 6am this morning and isn't home until 11pm Monday?
And plus also.... I think tonight will be the night that dd2 climbs out of her crib!! She almost did it at nap time but I stopped her. She was balancing on top of the side....
It is 10:15. My H is still sleeping. He also took a nap yesterday. He doesn't do night wake-ups with DS. Luckily for him I am wearing DS right now and he is asleep, otherwise I would be dragging his ass out of bed. Either that or smothering him with a pillow.
My 6.5 week old went on a hunger strike last night which would have been good except she also woke up over and over wanting to eat but then failed to do so. She would fuss and then pass out every two hours. In the meantime I had crazy oversupply and had to get up to go pump after 6 hours to take the edge off.
Unfortunately, after 3 big poops, she has now spent the morning cluster feeding between 6:30-10:30. I wanted to get some sewing in and this is generally when I have a chance to do it.
I'm watching L at gymnastics class. The 2 doors are made of windows. I know not all the parents can watch at the exact same time but maybe if you choose to stand in front of the door, you should be watching, not GbCning or texting. Everyone gets a turn - you know? I just wanted to make sure she was still alive after I ran out to my car. Sheesh.

We are at the Zoo right now and it is amazing weather. DS only wants to pay with rocks so I'm just sitting here.
BUT I'm having weird anxiety and keep getting nervous that I'm going to drop DS over the edge and he's going to get hurt. I keep having these very vivid pictures of it in my mind. I hate when this happens to me.
