I make an Amazon wishlist for my mom to shop from, and I think it's mostly cooking stuff. lol

For lunch today I had a salad that was just lettuce and arugula from my CSA, balsamic vinegar, a press garlic clove, grated pecorino and a little bit of leftover over bacon. OMG, it was so good!

Today my favorite faculty member dropped off an envelope as a thank you for working on a project with him-- it's a $150 gift certificate to my favorite restaurant!

He remains my favorite.

My boss left at three, and said I was free to leave whenever. Too bad my H and I carpooled, and I am waiting on responses back from people, so here I sit. Boo!

We had a Dept lunch for a colleague's 10 year anniversary with the company. Holy food coma (read: appetizer overload), and my boss is talking about packing up soon. I'm so on board with that.

S has a conference in Vegas next week (M-F), but I only have 3 vaca days left, so I can't go. I mean I "could" go for a few days, but then it makes the semantics of traveling to/from the airport a PITA. Not worth the hassle.
