Lets do day THREE word counts and where is your head at?

I couldn't write until about 9 tonight but I managed to surpass my daily goal and get about 1,800 words in. I'm up to just over 5,300 words and going strong.

H has Thursday off so I'm going to try to sneak away to a Starbucks or something to get in a good solid few hours. I'm having trouble connecting with the characters and writing in the emotion that I think the story needs. My two main characters just met and I kind of hate the scene but I don't want to go back and re-write it. 

How's everyone else faring?

So far I've managed to keep to the daily quota, even with being on jury duty (yesterday we did literally nothing...not a single juror was called, and we got out early). We'll see if that keeps up. H is going out of town starting tomorrow, though, and won't be back until Sunday, so I figure even if I fall behind, I'll have ample opportunity to catch up while he's gone this weekend.

Assuming, of course, I don't just get distracted by marathon-watching Gilmore Girls instead.

I got way more done yesterday than I thought I would. I'm doing a word crawl (my first ever) in the Word Wars, Prompts, and Sprints forum and it's really fun.

Missed the first two days here, but I ended up at 5602 last night.
I'm a little ahead schedule and happy with how things are progressing.

I had 5 solid hours of writing yesterday morning and it felt great.

Today is day 4 and I'm closing in on 11k right now. I'm nearing my major plot point though, so I worry how much story I have left to write.
