Documentary is really rich with possibilities this year. I want to see Look of Silence, Amy, He Named Me Malala, and Best of Enemies.
Amy was amazing. AMAZING. And music-based documentaries are a dime a dozen, but it was really, really well done. I want to see He Named Me Malala as well.
I'm going to see Carol this week. I saw the Revenant yesterday. I want to see Hateful Eight, but I'll also wait until nominations to see what else I need to see. I've seen The Martian, Mad Max, Star Wars, Spotlight, Brooklyn, the End of the Tour... I'll probably need to see Room and The Big Short.

I almost saw Amy today, but I was in tears because a local police k-9 was shot and killed, so I wasn't in the mood for it. I will watch it sometime in the next month, along with Sicario and Mad Max. I had Mad Max before, but couldn't get into it. I am willing to try again, though.
May take in Revenant and Carol. I'm 2nd on hold at the library for the Malala doc.
Word is that Spotlight's on the decline and Big Short's moving on up. Only time will tell if it's a "12 Yrs a Slave" (frontrunner from the beginning) year or a "Birdman" was, where they change horses midstream.
