I ordered 2 $5 items (and 5% off/free shipping) online at target and only one was delivered. They refunded the one item and also gave me an extra $5 gift card since my item was no longer available. I think it was good karma from returning an extra item that I did not order or pay for that ended up on my package a few weeks ago.
I failed to pay my hospital bill on time, so for paying within 30 days of a final notice, they randomly gave me 10% off my bill. Umm, score for being irresponsible?
Always ask. You can typically get at least 20 % just for asking if it is a large bill.
I bought a lot of door knobs, hinges, etc and I couldn't find an active coupon code online. I emailed the company since a competitor offered 10% off (they were still higher than this company) and they were able to give me a 10% coupon that included free shipping. It saved me over $100.

I misplaced my most recent Ebates check, so I contacted them to see if they would replace it. Not only did they reissue that one, but the customer service rep noticed I had a 2ish year old one that I'd never cashed, so they sent that one too!
Procrastination paid off when I ordered my PB stockings- for 5 it would have normally been $160+ but I kept putting it off and happened to look when they were on sale and had free personalization and free shipping. Add in my 15% off coupon, I paid $75.03 total.

my hubs as had some good side work lately and is in the process of starting a business.. and since he has a weird work schedule, it wont mean having to quit his job or anything to get running. hopefully ina couple of years it will.. but right now side money is going to extra on my car which I am hoping we pay off by jan..
While unpacking the gym equipment, I found my missing winter slippers and four restaurant gift cards. I was just getting ready to buy a new pair of winter slippers because it has gotten cold here. I am not sure why these were packed together. And DH and I have our date nights covered for the next month!

My dog chewed up my glasses a couple weeks ago so I had to order more. At the time, the lady at the eye doctor's office said my lenses were for sure under warranty but she wasn't sure if the frames would be covered. I had set aside some money in our budget to cover having to replace the frames, just in case. Picked up my new glasses today and everything was covered! Happy to not have to spend that money!
Hooray for 401(k) math never working out right! DH and I both had to recalculate our 401(k) contributions for the balance of the year because of mistakes/unknowns earlier in the year, so we will both be getting a few hundred more in each of the last 2 paychecks this year. It is about $1,500 is found money.

Just paid off my Car! woot.. been paying extra down.. wanted to get rid of that payment.. my goal was end of jan so 2 months early... DH has been getting some good extra side jobs and we have been really careful spending.. so now that payment gets put to thirds starting in jan- 1/3 to extra principal on his car, 1/3 extra to mortgage and then a 1/3 to savings.
