Age for one thing, I am always worried about dressing on trend but age-appropriate. And I guess I am always going to remember my mom telling me as a teen that my legs looked like sausages stuffed into my boots. I am a little scarred by her brutal honesty still.

Uggghhh...mom's. My mom and her friend laughed at my short, stumpy, sausage legs one year after Thanksgiving. Maybe I should have laid off the second pie. Ha.

I think your outfit is perfectly age appropriate.

You look great! You DEF need to rock those boots...especially the price you paid and they are gorgeous! I have horses (not that is matters) and that is they way I dress almost daily when not at work..I am almost 44 and many of my friends are in the 45 and older range as well and dress just the same.....I have MANY pairs of cowboy boots for obvious reasons but the pretty ones I don't hide either!!!!
