Those video walkie talkies look awesome and I will be watching for a price drop. We'll probably also get him some books and some math games.

FYI those video walkie talkies are at Target for $50, plus 20% off with coupon TOYS.  I think I'm going to get those for one of my nephews, they look awesome.  

ETA: Looks like it's store pick up only.  They're "low stock" at my usual Target so I hope my order will go through.  I live in an area with a bazillion Targets though and there are several that claim to have them.

Thank you!!  My 6 & 8 year-olds will love these! My target was out of stock, but one near where Dh is working has it, so he is going to pick it up later!

I have 3 boys and am having such a hard time coming up with gift ideas this year!

I think jeaniebueller has covered it, but the figures go with a game system and have a chip in them that allows the kid to play as the character and do stuff. Same concept as Skylanders if you're familiar with those. Disney Infinity 1.0 was all Disney and Pixar characters. Infinity 2.0 added the Marvel guys. 3.0 is Star Wars (plus some new Disney and Marvel figures).
