When do you leave? We're there until Wednesday, but I'm trying to convince DH that since we're at a major hub, instead of heading home, we should head to Europe. LOL
Thursday right now. Depending on flights, we might move back to Wednesday.
I'm trying to figure out if I should click the "Buy" button on some board games I have had sitting in my Target cart for 2 days.
Which ones?
Pandemic Ticket to Ride King of Tokyo expansion pack
I ended up buying them. I play Ticket to Rode on my phone and like it. Pandemic sounds a bit difficult to learn and remember but still sounds intriguing. I just hope I didn't spend all that money and hate them.
Is San Francisco and the surrounding areas worth going to for a week? I'm trying to figure out where to go on vacation next summer without spending too much on airfare from the west coast. Each of us has a $250 credit and SF is in that range. Everywhere else we usually go or are thinking about is way more. Not in the mood to pay $800 each or even $600.

Yes! The only problem is that summer usually has the worst weather (cold and foggy)

We love Ticket to Ride. Let me know how Pandemic is. I heard about it on NPR and it sounds interesting.

My random is even though there is no way I can run a half, I looked up flights to Charleston after lb2006 posted yesterday that there is a Charleston spot open to see how expensive it would be to sherpa, lol.
check flights to Charlotte too. If we all pack light, we can fit one more person in the car. We have 5 right now.

That might not be so bad since in the summer it hits 100+ here frequently. That might be a nice break from the heat.

Yes! We went to SF this past June and compared to the heat and humidity here, the cold fog was like a dream come true. We spent 3 days in the city and then 4 days at my SIL's house in Gilroy, and there was still so much that we didn't see.

OK so I'll keep SF up there on the list and research things to do.
My random: There is this awesome service here that will pick you up and chauffeur you home in your own car. Thanksgiving dinner + drinks + safe ride home = <3
DH is on call from today until Monday and already got called in for a full day today. I'm only bothered by it b/c the youngest and I are sick and I don't feel like dealing with it. After Christmas we are leaving town, so he legit can't go in.
I have full motion in my ankle front to back. Side to side isn't happening without pain, but I feel like at least there is progress. I need cardio.

YES! Tons to do!
And also ... GTG with the NorCal H&F ladies. Just saying.
My husband is waiting in a 20-person line at the running store to pick up my packet for tomorrow's turkey trot. That's love right there, folks.
My friend just asked me if I wanted her to get my packet. Save me a 30 minute drive? Yes please!
I love her.
My SIL asked me last week if I wanted her to get my and DH's packets. Save us from getting up at the butt crack of dawn and dealing with finding a place for extra stuff - yes, please!

It was really hard to get out of bed this morning knowing that DH and DS were off today and could hang out in their pj's all morning. I'd like to say I'm being productive at work, but I'm really not.
I'm working from home and Thanksgiving prepping today. Luckily my BIL & SIL took the nephews out of the house for a bit, because I was losing my mind. I'm not sure how I feel about the cranberry relish I made. I always WANT to like it, but I'm not sure I do. I'm thinking it might be better after it marinates for a bit, but just for good measure, I added a few teaspoons of brandy. That was a nice addition!
I'm doing the same thing with my online shopping carts itsme . I keep thinking a better deal might pop up on some items, so I'm hesitant to pull the trigger.
OH EM GEE!! I received an email about an SF half marathon that is in on a challenge with a local-ish half I am running next year. The weekend the SF half is on is the same weekend I was looking at flying out there. SOOOOO I would get a challenge medal!!! I'm medal obsessed. The race series I'm doing locally is also doing a challenge with other halfs in the area and I'll get that challenge medal as well once I run all 3 races. San Francisco is looking much more promising as the place to be.

This paired with the challenge medal I'd get is a win.
