happywife - I am in LOVE with that pig, lolol eb777888 - your tree is amazing! Did you spend a fortune getting the ornaments, or do it in stages? My ornaments are much more hodge podge.
Thanks! I usually have a really colorful tree but wanted to do plain silver and gold this year. I just went to Michaels and got two big packs of silver and gold balls (they were 50% off so they were like $12 each), then the white ones that were also half off (so, like $4). The snowflakes were from last year and we got a few new special ornaments this year.
All of the colorful ornaments went on David's tree. I kind of like all of the colors we've had previous years. I'm going back to the colorful tree again next year. I feel like it's not as pretty this year!
Everybody's trees are so beautiful. We let the kids choose the tree every year, so it can get pretty interesting, lol. I still need to sew a tree skirt, two more stockings (sofia still wanted to hang the reject), and we're going to make popcorn garland and salt dough ornaments (tradition).
So far we've only gotten the tree and ornaments out of storage, but these are some of my favorite ornaments
I love these! I have several bird ornaments and they are my favorites
Lol at least a third of my ornaments are birds. And the only ones I haven't bought on clearance are all birds. The old world Christmas birds are my favorites, but I have some from Hallmark and other brands too.
We can't find our tree skirt, the tree topper or the ribbon I wrap around the tree so the tree is sort of naked. I'll buy new ones after Christmas when they are marked down.
I love this! Here's what I've done so far. Tree and mantel. You can see the cat under the tree. He will only come out for meals until we take the tree down.
