Any ideas/suggestions j crew ???

Well I'm a dumb@ss...I bought the chateau parka from j crew last year and was wearing it and sat by my parents fireplace. I thought I was far enough away but I singed the fur. I already called j crew to see if I could buy a replacement fur and they said nope. Other than repurchasing the coat does anyone have any other ideas? I'm so bummed right now.

I am with Amy, it just snaps on so go to a tailor and see if they can make you one. You can still wear the coat in the mean time. My dog loves to rip mine off if I don't put it in the closet.
