I just found out I"m going to Miami and Rio in February for work. I'll be in Miami for 2 days and Rio for 4. I have no idea what to wear/pack/etc. Suddenly my wardrobe is awful, lol. I literally have no idea what to wear.
Want to help me shop or put together looks? I need fairly comfortable outfits for daytime and we'll do a ton of walking around (shoe suggestions welcome!) and then a few dressier outfits for night. Maybe one actual "night out". I'm having a hard time coming up with stuff as nothing in stores/online says "hot, humid, tropical weather"
I'm a size 10, 5'2" (so I like petite items for their lengths) and prefer to shop on a budget.
DAMMIT! I spoke to soon! Official word is that SOME OTHER DEPARTMENTS ruined the budgets for our company (went WAY overboard for some offsite meetings), our company was like "NOPE! ALL YOUR BUDGETS ARE NOW CUT OFF so we're sticking to Miami and likely Austin. My outfits will still work as I need some warm outfits for Miami but I'm bummed!
I like wearing dressy shorts and tanks when going out in tropical cities. I can't go without a bra or get away with a strapless and it's usually easier to find tops/tanks to wear with skirts or dressy (like sequiny) shorts for going out than finding a sundress that works with a real bra.

OMG, I love that jumper!! That kind of look is perfect!! I like that i can probably wear it with a variety of things to dress it up/down.
My company isn't a typical "business casual" but the look above would be just right.

woowoo - the romper inspired me. I really really wanted it AND it was on sale but A. it was still a little high and B. I'm not sure about the open back part and how it would look on me.
I just hit up the BR sale - 40% Off SALE items-woohoo! I like shopping there since they have petites and I know how they size (and I can return in store). I got all these for $113 total!

Now, I just need to find a cute Panama hat!
Those are all really cute and I would think trendy enough for Rio. I'm jealous! Have fun.
