Eyelash recs/tips

DH and I are attending a ball this Friday and I think I want to attempt false eyelashes again. I've never worn them. I've attempted twice to put some on and they just wouldn't stay.

The only brand I've tried are Ardell and the duo glue from Walgreens. I'm headed to the sephora later. Can anyone recommend a good brand of falsies and glue? I can even swing by Ulta if I need too. Something that looks a bit natural and I won't have to worry about them half falling off mid dinner.

I don't know if it's an option the day of for you but you can make a 15min appt at Sephora and they will put false lashes on for you.

My favorite natural looking lashes are Andrea #53. Trim them from the outside edge to your lash shape/length. I've gotten them at Sally's and Bed Bath and Beyond. I would bet Ulta has them, too. As for the glue, just make sure to let it dry for a few seconds (like 30-45) before putting them on your lashline - so it gets tacky and doesn't slide around once you place them.

I don't wear these for stage because they don't have enough oomph, and I don't wear them for length b/c my lashes are the same length. But I don't have a lot of volume so these are great for a little bit of extra definition. For stage, I go with Ardell Demi Wispies.

If your Ulta has a benefit bar, they'll apply the Benefit false lashes for you, too!

(Or get eyelash extensions. Best thing I think I've ever done.)
