Also I hate that if they're pretending this is all about 'health' that they don't include lower than recommend BMIs in the lower discount ranges.

My H works at WF. This program doesn't really bother us, it's strictly for the store discount, which is a very nice 20% to start with (even for part time workers). He will probably do these screenings to see if he can get a higher discount, but it's voluntary, so he wouldn't have to do it to keep the 20%.
Also, the insurance premium for full time workers is $20 per paycheck, which is pretty great, and completely unaffected by this.
If BMI is the only indicator I'd be in the extra-stellar group of discounted insurance rates. Joke's on them, though, because the reason I have a low BMI is related to valley fever which includes monthly xrays and labs, extra bone scans and a thousand dollars a month in drugs.
