We got our tree! It's all decorated (well the top half since dd was really interested in undoing anything she can reach) and we got the nativity up and the other advent calendar. It feels like Christmas!

We are at our friends house to watch the ufc fight. It's probably going to reck havoc on all 3 kids bedtimes, but oh well. It's nice to socialize with adults who also have kids similar ages to our boys.
I hope you guys don't catch it, I ended up getting it this morning and it is awful.
How long does it last? The last time this hit our house all three of us were puking for 24-48 hours.
This one is quick, DS started puking at 10:00 and it was every 20 minutes until 3:00. I got sick this morning about 10:30, less frequent, I've held down food for a couple of hours now. It has yet to rear it's ugly head to H yet.

Well that's good I guess! He's been heaving every 30 minutes or so. My H and I are trading off until he goes an hour (we're on our last crib sheet/mattress pad). He started around 6 so he should be done around 11 right?
We had a great, but busy day. My toddler doesn't nap ever, so when you add a hectic day she was exhausted when we were leaving the Christmas concert at 5:30. She didn't want to get in her car seat.
Well she hasn't been that upset in awhile, which is why we forgot that when she gets that upset she pukes. We cleaned her up and she fell asleep 2 minutes later. We made her take a quick shower when we got home and put her to bed.
I am now dreading the evening Christmas activity that we have planned for tomorrow. Especially since she told me she had to poop this afternoon, but refused to go, so I bet she will wake me up at 5am to poop. That with no nap and an evening Christmas activity and I'm asking for trouble.
We went to the Mall of America this afternoon and evening and it was great. I'm sure some people think we're crazy for going there on a Saturday in December but it really wasn't bad. We didn't even go into the parking ramps, we just parked across the street easily and walked in. Simple.
We hit all the stores I needed to, then had time to browse around and visit the pop up Children's Museum they have there. When it was time to see Santa DD it was so easy. Making an appointment to see him is the only way to do it. No waiting in a line and this Santa takes so much time with each kid and is fantastic. Totally different than any other Santa experience. DD loved him and had a great time. DH videoed it all too, which is great. Now we're home and DD is in bed and DH and I are relaxing. We have a low key day planned for tomorrow thankfully because we have a really busy week coming up.
ETA: Santa pics. Both are pictures of the pictures since I haven't scanned them or gotten mine off my DSLR yet.

I would think so. We had a couple of false alarms probably at the point where you are now where he just coughed. Will he drink anything yet? Once DS started drinking water, he was able to hold stuff down.
I'm going to bed soon. DS did not nap today and was a mess. DD has been pretty good, but is a fitful sleeper. I'm filled with dread every time I go to sleep. I know I'll be up, but don't know when.
I did see Mockingjay finally. It was nice to get out of the house. However, I've done nothing that needs to get done like Christmas shopping, Christmas cards, etc.

Today was kind of a disaster. M decided the water park was too loud and scary, refused to nap and then acted like a maniac and didn't listen much of the day. He is still awake watching Daniel Tiger and hoping he will go to sleep after this. I know he has to be exhausted.
DH and I had date night and went to see Mockingjay 2. Not good y'all. Not good.
My sister said E had a rough night and kept looking for us out the window. We said we wouldn't be back until after bedtime. Poor thing has been clingy lately esp at bedtime.
20 minutes of tossing around and moving pillows but he's asleep! IT'S A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!
We've been so lucky with the big boy bed. C hasn't gotten out of it once since we moved him, and he was climbing out of the crib every chance that he could. He just sits up and calls out for us when he wakes up now. Hope it's just as easy for you!
I left DD for bedtime tonight for the first time and it was fine, just like you all said it would be. We were supposed to go to DH's work Christmas party but the roads were too bad so we went out to dinner at a nice non-kid-friendly restaurant. It was nice to eat without having to attend to a toddler for a change!

Well I worried about leaving DD with a babysitter for no reason. I texted the sitter around her bedtime to see how things were going. She said she went down no problem and had been sleeping for 30 mins. When we got home she said there hadn't been a peep from her. Thank god, I was so worried she would pull her FOMO act on the sitter too.
One of H's work Christmas parties was tonight. It was funny how the ballroom was sectioned off by drs, nurses, techs. Passing hellos but no mixing of tables. H works in a dept of 3 people in research and fits into none of the above categories. The only person I enjoyed was a later in life med student who is a single mom to a 10 year old.
I went to Urgent care yesterday because I had a fever of 102/103 for several days. They think it is mono?!?! And pink eye in both eyes. H let me sleep in till 11 and at 12, I took a 3 hour nap with Ollie. I am still exhausted.
I spent $35 to reserve a spot with Santa, because they take pictures and I am an awful photographer.
