I was just scrolling through something online and there was a photo of a fried pickle. I haven't had any real cravings this entire pregnancy but OMG I want some deep friend pickles right now.
How awkward would it be for a 8.5mo pregnant lady to go sit at a bar by herself, order an appetizer of fried pickles, eat and leave? lol

I'd do it and certainly wouldn't judge if I saw it happening. A girl has gotta eat!

Just did another round of xmas shopping/grocery shopping at Target. But for some reason everytime I think I'm getting close to being done with xmas presents I think of more stuff/another person we need to shop for. And there is only 11 days until Xmas - OMG!
Chili is simmering on the stove & it will be so hard not to eat it tonight! It definitely gets better the next day so we are planning on eating it for lunches this week
Ds2 is sleeping in my arms right now andI'm just enjoying the peaceful moment after a hectic 5 days <3
Unfortunately, going out for the fried pickles would require me to put a bra back on. Chances are good I'll just eat cereal for dinner again instead.
Poor second child.
Can you not get it to go and keep your coat on?
I don't have a jacket that zips over my belly and refuse to buy one for only a few weeks left, so it would still require a bra. Pregnant lady problems. Haha. Oh well, the intensity of the craving has passed.
We ran a lot of errands today. Bank, liquor store, trader joes. I just made a Brussel sprout and quinoa salad for some lunches at work this week and packed up some healthy food for my desk. I am going to try and workout at the gym on campus atleast 2-3 times this week so I am packing up my gym stuff. Operation lose the baby weight is on.
E has been asleep for 2 hours. My left boob feels like it is about to burst. But if I pump, Murphy's law says that he'll wake up like 2 minutes into it.
1724 update: he woke up, and is now eating. Feels so much better.
H isn't here for dinner tonight so I was going to go pickup something in town for DD and I except there was freezing rain this afternoon . Now I have to find something to cook.

We ordered pizza tonight and are munching on Christmas cookies. I need to go on a serious sugar detox and get some exercise! I think I'll make it my goal to go to the gym 2 times this next week.
On the way to urgent care with P. He slept really poorly last night so we've been watching him today and he's just generally fussy and not eating well. If we pay this co-pay and it's just teeth, I'm going to be pissed.
Teething is in full force over here. He just went down for his first nap of the day (5:30 pm!) and we're thinking of letting him sleep through, even if that means a 4 am wakeup for all of us. We are pooped.

OMG, my child thinks he is a wizard. I had no idea he was paying attention to the kids running around with wizard wands at Great Wolf Lodge. He keeps gesturing at the TV to turn it on and off and we are totally playing along and cracking up.

My neighborhood held a Christmas party this afternoon and it was actually really nice with crafts for the kids and Santa. Then we came home and wrapped presents while watching The Polar Express (that our elf brought lol). I've been having a hard time letting myself relax lately with so much work to do so that made it even nicer.

I am the laziest ever right now. DS is rummaging in our pantry and is eating goldfish for dinner apparently. I can't get the motivation to get my butt off the couch.
I am so tired I burned the place & bake Christmas cookies. WTH. Poor DS. He was such a good sport, he said "it's okay mommy, I like them, they just extra crispy like chicken nuggets!" (wilted)

H is on his way home with the boys and I asked if they ate dinner. Apparently they had Cheez-its, applesauce pouches and venison sticks. Dinner of champions? To top it off, H is going to stop for Burger King chicken sandwiches. How are we not all 300lbs?

I am really debating turning on the AC in December. It is 78 in my bedroom. In the summer we set the AC to 74 at night. . . But it is December and it feels wrong.

I decided to go to church with H and DS this morning. I haven't gone in quite a while, sort of in a crisis of faith or whatever. So this lady who I semi-know (seen her, talked to her there before) says hello and then, "so, are you still working or are you a mommy now?" WTH, lady. It's not an OR question!! Gahhh.
I found a family narrative transcript my dad's cousin recorded before my grandmother passed. My dad estimates it was done in the 90s. Anyways, this passage was in there:
I was a bit of a bitch to my DH when the kids were eating dinner, because he was being a jerk, but of course, he gets all mad that I was a bitch and totally doesn't acknowledge his jerkishness. So he isn't talking to me and I am pissed because I apologized for being a bitch but he hasn't said anything about his being a jerk. Yes, we are in grade 8, clearly. Sigh.
When do toddlers start using diversion tactics to delay bedtime. DD is 20 months old and I think she has started, little rascal.
DD has been insisting lately on helping feed DS his oatmeal or purees. It's super cute, and she's actually not bad at it. I figure if I let her practice, eventually it won't be so messy .
