2 came in a set (picked out by H) and the band was purchased by me because I wanted to get a matching band to H's 2nd ring.
Yes... he has 2 rings LOL! One yellow gold, and one tungsten (for school/lab/working with his hands.) Both his rings are engraved with... wait for it... and Elvish love poem. He's a huggge LOTR fan. He practically had a fit about having a "precious" of his own, so... now he does.
Also, our tungsten bands have parts of that same poem engraved inside.
We bought them individually. I had a really hard time because of the setting. I really wanted a ring that was similar to the Tiffany Etoile ring but it looked funky. I wish I would have had a spacer made to make them sit flush.
I am now aiming for another band for our 10 year anniversary next year.
"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion." - Unknown
They were a set but we bought them 6 months apart. I really like it. If we had a bigger budget I would of gotten a nicer grade diamond but I still love what I have.
Nat - I love the center diamond. Though I might be a little biased bc we have similar nail polish on.
Not a set. I was actually talking with our jeweler today about changing my e-ring band. We're going to match the channel set stones in my wedding band. We chose to put the $ in the center stone and have the option of changing the setting later.
Since I had my son I tend to wear my wedding band and the 2 bands I got for my 2 yr wedding anniversary , it's just easier my 3 stone e ring was getting caught on everything
My ering is nearly identical to this and didn't come with a set. Trying to find a wedding band tat fit was pure torture.
Every place we went said that we would have to have a band custom made, which wasn't in our budget. This band was actually the only band I tried on and it fit with the ering great and was a steal!
Not a set. I'm a bargain shopper so it is from 3 different stores (bought the diamond loose, e ring setting one place, band another). I was shocked when we found a band that matched so well that it looks like a set after looking around at several places.
Eta I tried on the same band on the top as well and loved the look, but my fingers are way too short and fat for the extra band.

Beautiful rings ladies!
Mine isn't a set--it's my ering, an enhancer, and a separate band that H gave me on our honeymoon. I love it and still look at it all the time (almost 2 years later), but it could use a good cleaning

Not a set. DH bought the solitaire and told me I could trade it if I wanted something else. I love the classic yellow gold and round cut, so I kept it.
The wrap/band came from my mom. She buys/sells rings for really cheap and told me to go through hers since I couldn't find anything I liked elsewhere.
DH got my e-ring without my help, a radiant cut solitaire, so I was free to pick anything for a band. Because of the cut I liked how curved bands look. Then I got a 2nd band for our 10-year dating anniversary this year. The bands are different styles - originally I thought I'd go with one for each side of the e-ring, but I've been wearing them stacked instead.
ETA: Bottom band is my wedding band, and the middle band is my anniversary ring.
Mine isn't a set. My engagement ring was custom made and designed by my husband. My wedding band was bought from Brilliant Earth. I definitely want a matching second band for one of our future anniversaries!
