'Tis the season.


I just booked airline tickets for us for $400 for all 4 of us to fly.  Downside is I didn't realize that it was the airport without the Magical Express shuttle.   I've found a car rental for around $200 for the week, but that seems like a waste.   Is there some solution that I'm missing?   I'd love to save 9hrs each way in the car, but the fees associated with flying are definitely adding up!

Mears? They're the orlando shuttle company. You can do a shared van or a private car. I think the car was $65 or so when we did it.

Priceline it, check the price for 2 one way rentals. There are also limo services, Tiffany town car is one, I think..

Florida Town Cars.

It's about $150 R/T but it's door to door express service.

I'd keep the rental. It's nice to have a car as an option since you'd have to pay so much for transfers anyway.

If you have a car, you can go to the grocery store when you arrive in town and eat some meals off-site (if you didn't buy a meal plan). And unless it's changed since last year, you can park for free at the theme parks if you're staying on site, so you can drive your car and skip the busses if you wish.

I would keep the car. You aren't charged for parking on site and I prefer the convenience of it.

Another vote to keep the car. It's nice to have and you can also go off property much more easily.
