San Angel Inn is my favorite Epcot restaurant. I'd get a good margarita from the bar next door (I can't remember the name) and walk around the little shops inside until our table was ready. After a few drinks I'd ride the Donald ride. lol. Although, I do this every trip even though we have DS with us- ha!
I also like to do "snacking and eating around the world". Last time we had lunch at the quick place in Morocco and dinner at the quick place in Mexico, and both were very good and not too pricey. The sit-down places have always seemed so pricey to me. The only sit-down place I've eaten at is Biergarten, and while pricey, I'd say it's worth it.

I would do drinks and snacks around the world. If you haven't tried it, we stopped into Tutto Gusto wine bar in Italy (no reservations accepted) and had some nice app type foods. It's a little hole in the wall but yummy!
I would probably eat at a sit down restaurant in epcot because it is nice to be able to sit down and talk face to face without kiddos. I didn't eat at any of the places in Mexico but am a big margarita fan so I would probably go to one of those. Then I would go to the ice cream place in Italy and eat ice cream either while sitting on one of the benches outside the shop or while walking around the world showcase.

We did this plus we went to La Cava. The avocado margarita at la cava is so good. They also have a trio of dips with chips that is delicious. We ended the night by watching illuminations and then stumbling to the buses.
I would just do drinks and food randomly and save a nice date night for either Artist Point or California Grille. Both were so good although CG is probably one of the best meals I've ever had.
Let me know how Le Cellier goes. I think I want to try it.
Keeping in mind I was 5 months pregnant with morning sickness from hell, the beer cheddar soup and the pretzel breads were my favorite parts of my meal there. Otherwise, it's just a steak place.
I cannot answer that question. I am primarily a vegetarian while pregnant through no choice of my own. Damn kids.
Did I mention the pretzel bread??
Lol, I do like pretzel bread, but not sure that would be enough reason for me to choose a particular restaurant. Sorry you did not get to try the steak.
Oh, we do love Rose and Crown but it isn't romantic quiet if that's what you are looking for. I haven't eaten at many sit downs in EPCOT though.
Have you watched Illuminations from R&C?
I have its awesome, highly suggest. The restaurant in Morrocco looks romantic, I have never ate there and don't know anything about the food, but DH and I may give it a try next time. How long of an evening do you have? You could do dinner and then hit up a couple of different places for desserts and drinks.
We did Via Napoli last time and are doing Le Cellier in June. We still ate and drank as we went.

I will update!
We are also doing Brown Derby (Fantasmic package) and Liberty Tree Tavern, all new to us, on that trip. It's so tricky to balance old favorites with all the other stuff I want to try!

I wanted to try Liberty Tree but it was closed when we were there. I have heard good things! Hope you like all the new places!

The salad at Liberty tree tavern is soooo good. The ooey gooey toffee cake was good too but only for a few bites. After that it was sugar overload.
We had dinner at Spice Road Table in Morocco and were able to also watch Illuminations over dessert. The food was great and I'd go back Ina heart beat.
