Who has been on one besides dcrunnergirl52? (Did I get that tag right?)
I have some questions if anyone is available!
1) stroller - I don't know what to do! DD will be 2y9m but still rides in the stroller often. DS wil be 6 months. What would you bring for a stroller? Or strollers? I know it has to stay in our room. Will we be cursing ourselves if we bring more than umbrella stroller(s)? I am hoping that DS is willing to be worn but he is hit or miss currently.
2) anything you wish you packed but didn't? Were really happy you brought?
3) did you use the nursery for your 0-3 year old? Is my two year old going to think it's super lame?
4) did you buy a picture package before you went? Is that possible? Worth it?
Anything else we need to know!?

1.Stroller - I can't answer that one because we didn't take one. My youngest was 2yrs 11 months. For 6 months, I would probably take one to be on the safe side.
2. We brought the girls puddle jumpers for swimming. Totally didn't need. They have ample life vests available at the pool and on the beach. We only went for a 4 day cruise and I knew we would spend most of our time swimming, so I went pretty minimal on clothes for the kids (using dress outfits for dinner that would also be used for play outfits if needed, the next day).
3. We used the nursery every night for our "almost" 3 year old. She LOVED it. After she would eat her dinner, I would leave the table and take her to the nursery and my 5 year old to the older kids club. They both looked forward to it.
I was nervous the first night, taking her at 8:30pm (which is normally past her bedtime), but she had so many other "friends" there to play with. One night she did fall asleep and I felt HORRIBLE, but the next night, the nursery worker was very kind in showing me the area they have for the kids to lay down on cots and explaining it's very normal and they don't mind it at all. Overall, I was nervous about the $9/hour and how she would adapt, but for 2 hours every night, it was well worth it. She still talks about getting to play with her friends on the boat.
4. I didn't buy a package or any pictures, but now looking back on it, I wish I would have. We just didn't have the time and I didn't think about it unless it was crazy buys. BUT the pictures we saw were super cute.

1.) I would take an umbrella stroller for your DD and plan to wear the baby. I would be more worried about having a stroller if you are flying and have to get around the airport. I would not bring two strollers because the cabins can be small.
2.) Just a general packing tip, but I like having each outfit in its own ziplock bag to make it easier for me. Also I also create a "fun" bag to bring for dinner. Stickers, crayons, books, etc to keep your LO1 occupied for meals or downtime in the cabin.
3.) I thought the nursery was a bit lame for the 2+crowd but maybe it depends on the kid.
4.)I thought the photo pass was great if you are willing to take the pics with the characters. The lines weren't bad though.

1) stroller - I'd probably bring just a single, but more than a regular umbrella if you have it. That way your LO could ride in it, nap in it, etc. if you're planning excursions.
2) anything you wish you packed but didn't? Were really happy you brought?
I wish that I packed a few more bathing suits. We were on the cruise 7 nights, and had about 3 bathing suits each. We'd swim or go to a beach at least once/day and it was humid on the ship, so they never got a chance to dry.
3) did you use the nursery for your 0-3 year old? Is my two year old going to think it's super lame?
Yup, we used it a ton for DS2. I think he was there over 20 hours over the course of the week, including spending about 7 hours there on the day we went to Jamaica and went to the beach with DD and DS1.
4) did you buy a picture package before you went? Is that possible? Worth it? Nope. Only picture we bought was from pirate night.

We did a 7 night when DS was 3.5.
1. We didn't bring a stroller. He was so exhausted during the lifeboat drill that he fell asleep with me holding him. It would've been nice to have a carrier with me for that but I had no idea he would nap then. The hallways are narrow, I'd bring a single with some recline for naps on the go and a carrier just in case.
2. If you bring sharpies and a photo mat, white pillowcase, or the like, drop it at the desk and the characters will sign it for you and return to your cabin by the end of the trip. Pretty neat souvenir and it's free!
Also if you want to do Ana and Elsa meet and greet, you have to get special tickets ASAP from the main desk as it is very popular.
Consider bringing your own insulated glass, the cups they give you for drinks are tiny.
3. N/A, DS was 3.5. I peeked in and it looked more babyish than a 2yo would like but I'm sure I couldn't see the whole thing. DS adored the kids club and spent a lot of time there because he wanted to.
4. No, I think we bought 2 or 3 of the best pictures.
Their private island is awesome, it was our favorite port. Super kid-friendly. DS also loved the semi-submarine we did one place. We left him in kids club for another excursion that we knew he wouldn't like.
We went on a Disney Cruise in 2012. DD was also 2y, 9m.
1) stroller -
We brought our stroller, but only had one kid so just needed a single stroller. We brought a City Mini and kept it folded in our room when we weren't using it. We had the cheapest category of room and still had plenty of space, but again it was just the three of us.
2) anything you wish you packed but didn't? Were really happy you brought?
I think we did pretty good with packing. We had enough clothes and other items. I can't think of anything else we needed.
3) did you use the nursery for your 0-3 year old? Is my two year old going to think it's super lame?
We didn't use it.
4) did you buy a picture package before you went? Is that possible? Worth it?
No.
We had a fabulous time on our cruise. Disney does a great job. We're not big cruise people, but we had a lot of fun and there were tons of great activities.
Something else to consider, they have strollers available to "rent"- they were free- from concierge, I believe it was a city mini. My daughter was 4 at the time and we did not bring it but felt we needed it when we got off the ship. We only used it one day so not sure if it has to be returned every night or you can keep for the duration of your stay
WE did Disney's Alaska cruise last summer, when our boys were 5 & 3. Their staterooms were way bigger than any cruise I'd been on previously, but I wouldn't have wanted anything bigger than an umbrella stroller in our room.
We had an umbrella due to our time in Vancouver prior to the cruise, but we didn't really have any need for it after we got on the ship, we were able to navigate that stroller free.
My kids were old enough for the kids club, so I can't speak to the nursery, but they absolutely loved the kids club. I loved it too.
