Guys I am FREAKING OUT over my trip to Cleveland. Last year was a totally disaster. My skin flipped out at the humidity and I didn't have the right products. Plus I was only six months into AB and was still learning my own skin. I feel more confident, but I'm terrified of the humidity shift. I have dry skin (no longer dehydrated!) and I use tret. Tips? Any drug store recs if I'm in a pinch?
Anybody who has been eyeballing any of the Naruko masks, several are an extra 50% off at checkout. Like, they're shown as being on , put them in your cart, and it's another 50% off. We're talking $11 for a 10 mask set of a mask that usually goes for $22. $16 on amazon. So...yeah. now seems like a good stock up time if you're in the market. www.narukoboutique.com/Naruko-NRK-Mask-s/1826.htm?searching=Y&sort=13&cat=1826&show=15&page=1

I have no concept of what products might work for dry skin that is used to dry air and hits humidity....so what happened exactly last time? were your products too heavy?
Hi everyone! Lurker here who has spent the past few weeks reading this thread form the beginning and is a little overwhelmed. I would like to completely revamp my skincare routine. Any recommendations for someone with very sensitive and dry skin with rosacea?
I currently use Purity Made Simple with my clarisonic at night and bioderma sensibio in the mornings. The clarisonic helps with the dry patches I get in between my eyes and all around my mouth. I do have to be careful that it doesn't aggravate my rocacea even with the sensitive brush head. For my moisturizer I either use Origins Make a Difference or Josie Moran Argan oil.
Thanks to this thread I have ordered the Biore Watery Essence Sunscreen. I think it's a little drying for me and plan to purchase the Shiseido Senka Aging Care one next. I also just ordered the Benton Snail Bee high contact sheet masks. TIA for any recommendations!

googly, you are me in skin sense. I am dry and have rosacea. Here's what I use when I feel like doing a full routine (here's the minimum when I'm low on time *):
AM routine: Water rinse or Micellar Water Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence - I use 3 layers of it (small amounts) Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence * Hada Labo Gokujyn Hyaluronic Acid Lotion - I only use this in the morning if I'm particularly dry, which tends to be in the winter Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream or Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream (depending on if I need something heavier and lighter) * Shiseido Senka Mineral Water UV Essence SPF50+ or Biore Aqua Rich SPF50+ *
PM routine: Banilla Clean It Zero (first cleanse) * Bioderma Micellar Water (second cleanse) * The Ordinary Retinol 1% - 3x a week on neck The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% - 3x a week on face The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% + 2% HA - 3x a week - I use the AA and LA every other day Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence Hada Labo Gokujyn Hyaluronic Acid Lotion Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream *

I'm on a work trip, and I forgot to refill my little cleansing balm container (currently using the Banila CIZ)), and had to use hotel soap on my face last night. I'm already feeling little bumps on my face about 21 hours later. I'm so mad I'm wrecking my skin (and again for two more nights), and am sure most of my previous acne was caused by improperly cleaning. I layered all of my usual stuff afterward, but I'd bet all of the sunscreen didn't wash off properly. Ugh!

Anyway you get to a drugstore and buy micellar water and Neutrogena naturals?
I finally got around to purchasing more sheet masks - the Face Shop Solution pack was on sale at Amazon so I went for that. And let me tell you - even though I've only tried one so far it is totally worth it. Best sheet mask I've ever put on my face.
Has anyone used the benton honest TT mist? I'm pondering buying it to replace the benton snail bee skin toner I'm almost finished with.
I have it and love it, but I don't use it as a toner. It's definitely more of a moisture mist. I use it when I'm sweaty, or dried out, or flaky, or if my make up is too powdery, or before I touch it up before dinner....
I love the Benton toner, but I've been perfectly happy with Mizon Aqua Berry toner and Missha First Essence. I'm going to give Mizon the edge because the bottle is HUGE.
Side note- Did Moistfull Booskin disappear from the market? I remember there were a few fans of the product on here and in my consideration for my next toner, I thought about it but haven't been able to find it.

It does disappear every so often. calico, I have a bottle still in the box that I have not opened. Would you like to buy it? I like it a lot but my skin is really fried from swimming and sun so I need something creamier (like Mr. Honey Miss Flower toner).

I haven't checked in a couple months, but ebay is the only place I've found it in the last year.

Answered and here are the pics I couldn't put in the pm.
How long does a jar last you? I just started using this jar (first time trying it) and it seems to be going rather quickly. I'm used to pump oil cleansers, which take me a good 2-3 months to use up.

I use mine mainly for travel, so I can't say how long it lasts, but I think it's easy to use too much. I blew through my first tub. A quarter size seems to be about right.

A few months. You don't need a huge amount to get a good clean - so you might be using too much (I experimented to try to use as little as possible). I got mine in early April and it's still not finished after using it almost every night.

I use another similar product that comes with a little spoon. You don't need much at all. Swing by a Sephora or Ulta and snag one of the tiny spatulas they use for skincare samples - that will help portion it out.

That's a good idea. I'll dig out one of my little extra spoon things from another product. I like it so far, but I do 99% of my cleansing in the shower, so I'll have to see if I can keep the spatula in the jar. Otherwise, this isn't going to work out long term.
It did occur to me that maybe I was using too much, but at first glance, I didn't think so.

Did you get rid of the spatula and holder that came with it? I keep the spatula that comes with it on the plastic holder inside the jar (just under the lid). I don't use a huge scoop of it, just about half of the scoop.
mrsukyankee, it came with one? Hm. DH must have thrown it away. I made him fetch it and open for me while I was already in the shower and realized I had no oil cleanser.

Yup, with a plastic bit to hold it right under the lid. It made it easier to deal with and more hygienic.

Thank you so much for all the recommendations! I've been using the Banilla Clean It Zero for a little over a week and have already seen a difference in my skin. The dry patches are almost all gone. I haven't had a chance to research any of the other products you recommended but hope to soon. Thanks again!!!

I've been using it for a month and still have about 2/3 left. Ditto keeping the little plastic spatula & plastic top under the cap. I like this stuff but I do think the regular oil cleanser (pump style) went a bit further and I really hate having to keep track of that spatula so I'll be switching back after I'm done with this pot, except maybe for travel.
i just received another box of sample packets. I went ahead and got enough samples of that su:um 37 concetrated whatever whatever to equal basically a full sized bottle of it. Now to decant into an empty vacuum pump.
I also got one of everything that looked good with the word snail in it.
It's a sickness. I'm actually getting through them though, rather than just stockpiling them in a box. (I mean...I have a shoebox full, but it is nearly depleted every time I get more)
Just got this fun treat! Fiddy Snails recommends using these as an affordable undereye cream (i.e., affordable for sulwhasoo).
Smells so hanbang good!
I'm totally falling in love with the hanbang scent. I recently finished up my samples of the Whoo wild ginseng oil and moved on to the sulwhasoo concentrated ginseng renewing oil. It's up in the air which one I like better - the sulwhasoo makes my skin feel amazingly velvety, but I think it might have also caused a rare breakout. But there is another potential culprit, so I'm isolating and so far it seems like it might have been the other thing.

I use this. Never thought about using it as an undereye cream though so that's good to know. I live this moisturizer because it doesn't make my oily skin go all haywire.

What were the vitamin c recs from way back in the thread? I stopped using it when I started tret and now that I'm ready to add it back in, I can't remember what I tried! I think Klarins was one, but there were a few others...
