K-beauty random: on my journey down the rabbit hole, I saw a video on the best way to wash your face. At the end, she doesn't dry off. She lets the water soak in and taps the extra moisture like a serum. One of my biggest pet peeves is a wet, dripping face, but I gave it a shot anyway (I did dab my chin and eyeballs so I could see and wasn't dripping down my neck). I was amazed at how quickly the water soaked in! Plus, my skin didn't get tight and uncomfortable like it usually does if I don't put moisturizer on right away, which is perfect for letting the actives soak in. Just felt like sharing!
Has anyone tried the hope girl meme box? Or anything with donkey milk? I can't decide what to try.
The Hope Girl box is fairly new to them, so I haven't tried that one. BUT the Freeset Donkey Milk 3D moisture cream is my holy grail moisturizer. It is amazing! It's a strange consistency, but it sinks into my skin with no problems and feels divine.

Does it smell like milk? Do you think the hope girl one is similar? It said on another website it has little milk filled spheres that burst when you rub it in- it's so interesting.
Can anyone who has used the Caolion Hot & Cool Pore Pack Duo answer a question for me? I have a sample pack, but I'm not exactly sure how to use it. Are the two packs to be used one right after the other? Step one is for blackheads, and is a hot pore cleaning, and step two is a cool pore tightening. I don't have blackheads, so do I need to use the step one? Also, do I tone, serum and moisturize after? Thanks!

I loved this stuff so much, I just ordered a full size. I put the Step 1 on my nose and where some pores look clogged, guessing that it would extract any impurities, not just blackheads. But skip it if you prefer. I did Step 2 after, applying to a larger area. The Step 2 cooling felt amazing. After I did a gentle cleansing and then applied serums as usual. My skin felt really clean, tighter and softer. Let us know what you think.
artgal84 I definitely don't notice a milk smell with the Freeset. It does have a scent, but not anything I associate with dairy, lol. It sounds like a different texture than the Hope Girl one too. The Freeset cream has a smooth texture- no spheres. It sounds interesting though!
When I opened my box of goodies from memebox, I tossed the card toward the trash but it didn't make it. DH walked by a few minutes later, stopped, picked it up and asked why I got a valentine card with goofy Asian men on it.

was this the girl that washes her whole face with her pinkies? Because I don't have time for that shit.

I've been wanting to order this but I'm a little weirded out by donkey milk. I'm fine with snails and bees and whatever, but donkey milk seems odd to me. I should get over it. I'm placing an order from koreadepart.com today, my goal is to not go crazy.
I didn't go full steam but I did get a few things to get me started and once my skin is good with those I will add more. Skin stuff Mizon snail recovery gel cream Secret Key Snail repairing masks biore sunscreen
Makeup Dr. Mascara Fixer green tube Dr. Mascara fixer red tube (one of these does a lash extension fiber and for 5 bucks hey why not) Etude eye primer Saemmul wrapping tint -i've been wanting to try this for so long!
I am also thinking I want to order secret key lip tint glow - the packing is identical to the dior lip glow which I have and love. If I can get the same for a third of the price that is a win to me! plus there are so many different colors.
I also wanted to the get the Mizon snail ampoule but I'll wait to see how I like the other stuff.

Lol! No. I'm not sure why a video was necessary since her technique seemed pretty normal to me (except for the drip-dry), but then again, I'm not really sure how everyone else washes their face, so maybe it was new information for someone.

I decided I needed to try a few things so ordered a Korean beauty sample set from YesStyle. I know I'm going to hate you all for introducing me to this stuff.

That's how I feel too. I don't know why! Maybe because they keep saying it's the closest thing to human breastmilk. I'm currently breastfeeding so that shouldn't weird me out but it does.
Has anyone tried the dynasty cream by beauty of Joseon?
That bubble mask looks like fun but since I'm already committed to regular chemical warfare on my face an aerial assault with a bubble mask might break my face.
I tracked my Memebox and it's at the postal hub in my city so hopefully it will be delivered today!
loonylunalovegood, that lip mask is hilarious. I may need to get one just to show DH.
I don't need anything "new" yet, but I might cave on the bubble mask. I keep getting bombarded with it in ads and now seeing you tried it. man, resisting is hard.
I've been using the snail bee essence for like 3-4 days now. Is it too soon to declare my love for it?
