Saturday eandoms

So I know it's just *barely* Saturday (12:12 on the east coast) but I had a random and didn't see a Friday randoms post. Anyway...

DDs went to bed around 9:30. I checked on the hamsters and Sammie didn't come out to the cage door like he normally does. I figured maybe he was sleeping so I opened the door and lifted his little house. Still didn't come out. Now I'm a little worried so I move the bedding around and find him laying on his side and breathing very fast. I picked him up and he was cool, but alive. I put him back and covered him back up with his bedding and his house. Now I'm scared we're going to wake up to a dead hamster I've heard that they can go into a "hibernation" of sorts, but this seems off. So if you can all just send him some get well vibes, he and DD2 would really appreciate it.

ETA: well apparently I posted too soon. Right after hitting "post" I googled hamsters and hibernation. Apparently that is not good for them, and could kill them, if they go into hibernation mode. It said they do that when they get cold, but the house is not cold. But it said to warm them up by wrapping them in a cloth. So... Upstairs I went to wrap him in a washcloth and as soon as opened the cage door he popped his head up and walked over to me. I picked him up to check him out and he walked and walked and walked all over me. So, sorry for the premature post. I'm guessing he was just sleeping heavily earlier?!? All is well now so... Happy Saturday!!

Phew! So glad to read the update and that he's OK, yay!! I wonder if he has sleep apnea? Kind of lol, but kind of not. My cat definitely has it and snores like an overweight man, lol. Hope he continues to be fine!!!

pandora I know you said this on the other post, but I am being lazy since I am already typing here. I would just call or message your friend to tell her about the baby and do your announcement on fb. That sucks that one person is holding you up.

I am super excited tonight. Going to Jacksonville with my mom to see Carrie Underwood. She has been on my concert bucket list for 5+ years and I have just never been able to make it happen. This is also opening night for the show, so there are no spoilers or setlists to look up like I normally do.

DD and I are going to the NFL Fan Experience and we're going to check out SB City this afternoon in SF. Since I can't drop $7500 on a pair of nosebleed seats for the game, this has to suffice.

My doctor said I'll probably remain sick until my surgery because my sinus cavity.

I received a Panera gift card for Christmas. I never really eat at Panera but gave it a go this week...not impressed at all. This morning I had a few dollars left on the gift card and got a bagel, cream cheese, and coffee to-go. When I opened the cream cheese this slimy goo spilled out from the top of cream cheese all over my desk so I threw it away. The bagel was really bland, despite supposedly being cinnamon. The coffee was good.

So why the Panera hype? Did I miss something? Because I plan to never eat there again. I feel similarly about Sonic's food (which is worse than Panera, but they were both not good).

glitzyglow it used to be better but they've been making changes for the worse.

We are going to test out DS2's cast shoe today. They need to walk some sass out.

I don't get the Panera love either. I thought it was ok, but nothing to rave about. And I think it's pricey. I have not yet been to a Sonic. They actually just opened one up near me, and it's supposed to be the biggest one yet, but we haven't gone yet. It has been packed since it opened so I'm waiting for the hype to die down.

I'm currently sitting next in the hair salon with a head full of foil getting highlights. It's like I wake up and decided my hair needed it. My dark blonde roots were totally bugging me.

I feel a little overwhelmed by all the work documentation type things that I need to complete in order to have a start date set in stone for new position. We're going to be house hunting in a few weeks and while applying for mortgage pre approval, I found out that I need to dispute something on one credit report that's not accurate. What a fucking nightmare this is going to be. Please send good vibes that I get through all this crap.

We are having a family gather at the house tonight and I'm just not in the mood to clean the house and be around people. I was hoping to work from home and rest this weekend, but those plans are being thwarted.

Good news about tonight's get together: there will be cake.

Panera used to be SO much better. I still like the broccoli cheddar soup though.

I went to the first run of my running club today. It's really great. It's all women of a variety of different levels so that's super cool and welcoming. I'm excited to get back into running. I had to just concede that I have a love/hate relationship, but ultimately it's love hahaha.

Then I did a ton of grocery shopping, made lunch, did some cleaning and now I'm crashed in my living room for the day. Not bad all before 1:30pm!

@blueyes623, I got my hair did today too! I am now a reddish brunette!

I am so happy! I have now lost a total of 6lbs! Only 31 more to go, but I gotta start somewhere! Now that I'm seeing results it's easier to say no to eating crap. I really needed to get a handle on my nutrition because my foot surgery is scheduled for 4/26. I will be immobile for 2 weeks so my eating has to be clean!

I can't wait until Valentine's Day! Not because I have a date because I don't, there is going to be a Cupid edition of tattoo nightmares! This might be better than my normal Valentine's Day Cheaters marathon. Hi I'm Abcdefu and I have no life!

This is my first time going this dark. Before summer I am going to add blonde highlights to it and use this as my base!

it's ALOT of fun ! Go if you can get tickets The only crazy waits we had were for autographs, the gauntlet (one of the skill stations) and the WORST line was photos w the Lombardi Trophy - gads I think it took an hr & a half, hr 45 and the line wasn't super big.

Eta - we never made it to SB City :/ we were at the Fan Experience for 11 HOURS !!
