I spent some time yesterday reading some of (like 15%, I still don't really get it but I gave up) what went down last week. I just want the WOC to know that I appreciate them sharing their experiences on this board. They have honestly changed my perspective on a lot of things. It's not your job to dumb things down for me, and I appreciate those that have done so anyway. I am sorry that you were all violated in this way. I think @mx is on to something when she said Smo was targeted because someone was too scared to mess with Kirkette (or even KOKO). I am so pissed still after catching up for an hour or so. And so sorry about missing the issues on other boards this past week. @kirkette has been vocal in here recently and it's been welcome, but I'm sorry I didn't realize how different it's been on other boards.

It's so little to offer to take note of other boards more, but our POCs shouldn't have to check on all the boards all the time! @smo has mentioned how hard it was in the past in other boards who were somewhat ignoring BLM, and i should have done more than just note the differences. - at least noted the actual posters and called them out.

I want to echo these thoughts. I've been quieter on here for other reasons, but still took the time to listen when needed. I'm appalled that a grown woman/group thought this action was appropriate given what's gone on. Smo is amazing and I hope she knows how many of us support her and the other woc here.
