Nothing much going on for me. I finally stopped spotting. Just waiting for post-op appointment with my RE to figure out our next cycle.
Favorite color: green and grey Favorite vacation spot: my all-time favorite vacation was our honeymoon in St. Lucia. Maybe we'll go back next year for a combo 10th anniversary/DH's 40th birthday celebration. Favorite time of year: fall. I love when the weather cools down, boots, sweaters, football, the start of the holidays.
poppypoppins- no way!! That is so cool! Were you born there? My H lived there and then in Germany 6 yrs before they came to the US in 1998. Like Mushe, we went for our 3 week honeymoon there. That was my first time on a plane lol. H's family is about an hour from Split where I think a lot of the cruise ships go (and Dubrovnik). We've been 4 times since 2009 and hope to go back this year to visit his Mom and sister. His sister lives in Germany right now.

I was born there and moved in 1995. I'm from Zagreb but my parents have a summer house on a popular tourist destination island off Split, must be really near by to where your hubby is from. So fun!

What is everyone's favorite color? Blue Favorite vacation spot? Jamaica, we've been 4 times and had our honeymoon there. I'd go back there in a heartbeat if we could afford it. (And that the country didn't have Zika virus). Favorite time of year? I love spring, the smell of fresh rain and all the baby animals.
ot much going on here. Worked from home today and had doctors appointment to get a lab requisition sorted out for my RE. Plus my doctor wrote me a doctor's note confirming my pregnancy so that I can cancel our trip to Cuba. I've made a case with the travel company and they are reviewing my request. Fingers crossed they get us a full refund.

oneslybookworm , I'd love to share! Once we had our failed IVFs, we decided it was time for a new plan. We went to an adoption info meeting, but felt like adoption was not the right thing for us. We both felt more comfortable with donor eggs, so that one of us would have a genetic connection to the kid. My clinic does frozen and fresh donor egg cycles. We decided on fresh because the success rate is higher, and since we get all the eggs retrieved from the cycle, a good chance at having a few embryos, in case the first transfer failed, or for a possible sibling.
At our initial consult we met with a third party reproduction nurse, financial person, and counselor. Then I had to do a mock FET cycle to make sure my lining grew enough, and to figure out how long it would take. We also had to fill out a form with our physical characteristics, and a list of our must-haves and like-to-haves for a donor. You could put anything, with the understanding that if you are picky or want something really specific, it will take longer to match you.
They said it would take 4-6 months for us to be matched. We've been on the list since the beginning of Nov, so we were matched pretty quickly. I'm not really sure what happens next, heh...I know the donor needs to have some more blood work, and H has to have a final genetic consult. Then I guess we sync cycles and get started.
So I was supposed to get my car tonigh . But original dealership hasn't paid out repairs. And the dealership here policy is they don't release the car until it is paid. I did turn in my rental and I only had to pay two days instead of four. I don't know if they comped two days or the original dealership is paying the other two days. Let's just hope that thenorginal dealership pays it tomorrow so I can have my car back.

thoseareradishes I hope this doesn't make me a creeper, but I am SO excited for you!
I started shots today. I keep feeling like I'm forgetting something but I think it's just because I only have 1 AM shot and 1 PM. Each of my last 3 cycles have involved 3 or 4 shots each day, so it just seems weird. Tuesday will be my first check so I'm just plugging along now.
