I'm doing much better this week - I've only lost a pound or so, I think, but my body feels much better since I havent been drinking or eating crap. Lots of salads and fruits. I've given myself permission to eat unlimited fruit and veggies (without dip or dressing or anything). I read somewhere that if you give yourself permission to eat unlimited something, it has a more powerful effect than telling yourself you're restricting everything. I've actually noticed a big difference in how I'm approaching food.
Down to a number I haven't seen in probably 7 years! I've been doing the Aruvedic "cleanse" this week, but it's less of a calorie restriction thing than a digestive system reset and gallbladder/liver/pancreas rest and strengthen. I've had off and on pain there that has gotten better with cutting sugar and generally better eating but with the weight loss I wanted something more to keep everything running smoothly. My belly shape seems to be getting worse the more I lose though :/ it's just so floppy. I think if I can make my goal weight this year and then maintain another year that I can make a good case for a tummy tuck.

Not good. I'm honestly close to giving up. I shouldn't have to starve to lose weight! I'm not eating the best but it's not horrible. It's like I have to eat nothing but grilled chicken and steamed veggies.
I'm in a groove now. Not sure how much I'm down this week yet, but I've gotten back into good eating/exercise habits.
Also half marathon training starts next week so that should help
That's how I feel! Like I'm in a good groove. I make a big salad that lasts me a couple of meals every few days with roasted sweet potatoes and chickpeas that I eat for dinner most nights, my body feels better because I'm eating more veggies, I automatically reach for the raspberries or kiwis or apples as a snack instead of cookies. I'm also doing a 30 day plank challenge and a 30 day squat challenge
This week hasn't been the best. Birthday (although it wasn't all that bad) and the past weekend I was unable to run either day, but I didn't eat a ton either because I was so busy.
This weekend is already looking ridiculous with a birthday lunch on Saturday plus the super bowl. I'm not worried about the lunch, but the timing of everything isn't leaving much room for a workout. I might switch my rest day to Saturday and run on Friday and longer on Sunday.
1/2 training starts Monday for me, too! Now I will be forced to suck it up in regards to the weather.

Hugs I'm sorry You're right you shouldn't have to starve. Have you looked into 21 day fix ? It really helps with portion control and amounts of each food Group
yesterday they had my favorite flourless cake at work and usually I resist but I didn't
I got my period too so the weight isn't going anywhere but I worked out every day but have been doing less cardio more strength training so it will prob fall off slower too
going to be a tough couple of weekends lots of parties coming up

I'm leary of trying something like that because I really don't want to have to cook a separate meal for the kids because they won't eat what I'm having.

You probably wouldn't have to.. You just use the containers for reference of portion control in what you're already eating and you might add an extra portion of veggies for yourself.
That's why it's nice because it's not a "diet" or anything it just helps lay out how much of each food group you eat a day. So if you're having pasta and chicken for dinner you just use one or two carb containers for your pasta and a protein container for chicken and then eat the rest of the containers throughout the day It DOES require meal planning, at least in the beginning until you get the hang of it

I think I'm finally over my constant sweets and carbs cravings. I'm down a pound, which officially moves me into the next decade! I haven't seen these numbers in about 3 years!
So/so this week. I'm down about another pound. I have King cake staring me in the face everywhere I turn, though. I'm not denying myself completely, but it's still rough. It's Mardi Gras and Super Bowl this weekend and I'm going to have to utilize a lot of self control. If only I didn't like food and alcohol so much
I feel better and have been eating more balanced but the scale sucks I'm still really struggling with my diabetes diagnosis and trying to learn what my body likes etc. I also am waiting for an appt with endocrinologist but did get in with RD which was helpful
No loss for me this week. I'm really getting frustrated. Yesterday was J's birthday and I did eat a heavier meal last night and had a beer, plus I didn't drink as much water as usual. I'm hoping that I'm just retaining water and will see it on the scale next week.
I do feel a little better about myself. I've been working out more and don't feel as bloated and gross. I wore my size 6 black AE jeggings yesterday, and they were comfortable. A few weeks ago they were super tight. My bra is more comfortable too (I was spilling out lol).
I did complete the diet bet I was in, and won a whopping $5. But I am glad to have at least started the weight loss process. I am considering doing one of the 6 month transformer diet bets, to lose 10%, but that would put me at a weight I haven't seen in years. I am not sure how attainable it is.
Another 2ish loss I think. Going to be gorgeous this next week so hopefully lots of bike rides and outside time. Even just being in the sun makes me more motivated for everything.
I've been soooooooo busy lately and eating like shit. Needless to say, I'm not doing good. I was with my family this weekend and ate so many chips and other random crap foods. I need to lock it up or my pants will never fit.
