@tambcat, yeah, that long stretch of Thomasville road just feels so far! When we lived in Tallahassee, my BIL & his family lived another 5-10 minutes past that area. I couldn't do it.
I would need ceiling to floor blackout curtains, but I love it. And honestly, if I could peek in and see my nude hypothetical H getting ready in the morning, I would have a lot more sex, too.

I wish I had a hypothetical husband. lol. This would not be the case with my real one.
With your H, I'd probably be screeching from the kitchen that his hair was dripping on the hardwoods.
I grew up in a very strange and similar house my Dad designed in the 80s. My parents had a massive picture window overlooking the dining room in their bedroom, and there were walls of windows and skylights everywhere.
Since it was so open concept it pretty much had to remain bright white.
I love this one but it would be terrifying in the Canadian winter when all you could see would be snow.
I like it. You'd definitely need a window cleaner on speed dial.
I'm trying to figure out how big that fridge is. It looks massive.
There's no question I could not live here, though, between the death spiral staircase and the trip-a-lottacus sunken living room.
It goes with the oversized dishwasher, apparently? I don't think I could live with the lack of privacy in the master bedroom, but the rest of the house is awesome!
That house makes me want to build my next home so I can have my own bathroom. I would kill for the ability to go to the bathroom in silence. And I don't even have kids, just H, but he gets lonely during the day so he just talks at me from the moment I get home.
Ummm. Maybe a private bathroom won't actually solve my problem. But it might help.
I love it. I find myself feeling more relaxed just looking at it. It seems very soothing to me. I also love that area of Tallahassee. There is a ton of pretty property off of that road.
Yeah but it's so far out of town! I would hate the commute. (Which I know isn't even a commute to people who live in real cities, but I have serious road rage issues, so no thanks to spending 40 minutes making my way down Thomasville Road 2x/day.)
Yeah, my first though was that this is way too expensive for ANY house in Tallahassee and my second was "who wants to live all the way up there?" Between TMH, lake Ella, and downtown is where it's at.
