If the kids were teenagers, it was my friends family! They were posting selfies today in shorts and stuff on their travels back from Mexico, I thought they were crazy! Knowing some schools were closed in the Valley today due to ice and rain.
I was totally that kid in high school that thought flip flops at 30 degrees was okay.
One time we were flying in December from Columbus to the Virgin Islands with a quick layover in DC. My DH decided it was a brilliant idea to wear flip flops and swim trunks on the plane so he could go straight to the beach. Long story short, the airline fucked up royally and only half of our party actually had seats on the second flight even though the airline agreed we had purchased tickets. The only way they could get us to VI was to fly is to Chicago for the night first but our luggage was going down without us. So DH walked off the plane in Chicago where they had like 6 inches in flip flops and swim trunks. And the next morning he had to take the walk of shame back to the airport in the same outfit.
HOW LONG ARE YOU GOING TO BE IN SEATTLE? DID I MISS AN ANNOUNCEMENT? flex
Calm down, friend! lol I was merely traveling through Seattle on my way to Oregon to spend time with Mom. I believe I was at the Seattle airport for 45 minutes. Believe me, if I travel to Seattle for more than a couple hours you'll be the first to know.

Hope your mom's doing okay. Glad you're able to get down there for her.

She's not doing too great, but is still getting around. She had a CAT scan earlier this week and will get the results next week. Fingers crossed it's a good report.
