Now I'm just sitting here thinking about how horrifying it would be if my former high school and college boyfriends suddenly decided to make cameos in my grown up life.

Yes, I'm wondering how they are going to make this work. I guess it makes sense for Jess to flit in and out of her life if her mom is still connected to Luke. Maybe they will finally get married here and that's what brings Jess back.
And let's not kid ourselves that Dean ever left Stars Hollow. He probably still works at Dooses.
omfg if this reboot is going to be all about how every guy in the world is clamoring to date that sourpussed stuck up whiner Rory, I'm gonna be pissed, lol.

Don't you know that once you date a Gilmore girl you can never, ever, ever move past it.
I know I'm the only person on the planet, but I loved Dean.
I think he will have finally moved on. I can't imagine he will be a huge part on the show, more of a cameo with filing Supernatural.
Yes, I agree. I think it'll be like, Rory comes back to visit her mom and runs into Dean, who's married with a couple of kids and maybe now runs a construction business.
I don't see how Logan's going to fit back into things. I have a really hard time believing that he'd be pining for her for 5 years. But I think that's totally plausible for Jess. I'm really surprised a Jess storyline is going to happen, though, what with Milo being a jerk to Alexis in real life. Maybe they've moved past it, but man, I wouldn't want to work with an ex that didn't treat me well.
And Team Logan? WTF? WHO IS TEAM LOGAN! Team Jess or team some new guy. All the way. Logan was annoying as fuck. I GET IT! You are rich with great hair. Cool story, bro.

I was wondering about this as well. Maybe they ran it by her first...?

He can call himself whatever he wants to, just do it nekkid.
...Okay, that I can get behind. I am sad that he lives in Austin and I have never run into him in all my trips back home. It's like we don't run in the same circles or go to the same places, or something...

Yup. Logan's not the pining type. There's no way he's still single and contacting Rory 8 years later.
Jess, I remain convinced, is her soulmate. I'm wondering if he won't be dating someone else and have to decide what is better for him.
Pffft. I hope Marty is someone big and important and doesn't give her the time of day. Or mistakes her for someone else and asks her to get him a latte.
I loved Rory and Logan. It's hard for me to understand why anyone would be team Jess.
High school Jess was a punk and a scared kid who felt like he had no place and no love.
Grown up Jess had made something of himself and settled down.
Without the high school drama, he got Rory more than Logan ever could. He's the reason she went back to Yale. They just sizzled together, physically and intellectually.
jojoandleo I love you. This is hard for me to disagree with you so strongly. I love Logan. Sure he was a privileged rich kid but he treated her well and loved her.
Jess had great chemistry with Rory but he's a dick. Basically, he's that sexy guy all of us have encountered at some point - great sex, but terrible human. Since he was abusive to her IRL I have a hard time not letting that opinion spill over.
I didn't know that part.
I will say I was NOT team Jess in HS. I was team Jess in college when he grew the fuck up.
My issues with Logan was Rory changed a bit for him. And he just didn't always get her. Like dropping out of Yale. He just sat back and watched as she dropped out, partied, lost her relationship with her mother, etc. It was like, he didn't get how important education was to her. He had money, they could party, whatever. I agree he loved her, but I don't think he added anything to her. I actually think he made her LESS interesting.
