That's misleading I guess because I only have vents.
Ds1 was sick earlier this week and I put off going to the doctor because he seemed to be getting better. By Wednesday it was clear he wasn't and then took him - bam double ear infection (he had never had one before, I felt so bad for holding off going in)
Ds2 is now sick and can barely breath. His cry even sounds so sad and defeated. And we were getting somewhere with night weaning but now that's all gone to pot.
Of course I'm going at it alone because of all the weeks this had to happen DH is in Utah skiing!
Sorry gastro, that sounds rough. Try not to feel bad about waiting to go in though, ds has had ear infections that were hard to detect, and some kids don't look sick when they are
Hopefully your h's vacay is refreshing because when he gets back, you earned your me time!!
R-valentines candy and Starbucks, the breakfast of champions! Aw-I managed to not gain weight despite out Disney trip! Woo! Guess I burned off he churros. V-see my daycare rage post

I'm sorry, gastro. My kids always seem to get horribly sick when DH is gone, too, and of course him being gone makes things seem that much worse anyway. Hopefully the antibiotics kick in soon for your DS1 and DS2 turns a corner soon.
R: I mopped the dining room floor yesterday. It was gross.
AW: A local consignment store contacted me about carrying my snack bags and sandwich wraps. And they are attached to a small co-op grocery store and want to stock my reusable maket bags there. I'm so excited! I'm in a different consignment store already, but this is the first one that contacted me! That feels good.
V: DS has had a rough month. Croup a few weeks ago, ear infection last week, and he woke up night before last puking all.night.long. He's seems to be feeling a little better, but the kid needs a break.
V2: We have to go to a funeral tomorrow, three hours away. I'm trying to look at the drive like an adventure, but DS gets carsick, and I get anxious. 6 hours in the car is sounding kind of miserable.
I'm sorry gastro, this month seems to be so brutal for everyone with illness.
In fact, that is my vent. In the last three weeks we have had: bronchitis, pink eye, a sinus infection, and a stomach bug for DD. Pink eye, bronchitis, an ear infection, and a stomach bug for me. Now DD has a cold on top of her sinus infection so WTF? I'm so sick of the sound of coughing. Like I seriously have nightmares about it.
R: DD agreed to take swim lessons instead of gymnastics on Friday mornings. I am SO glad. I think we were both over gymnastics but it took awhile for her to admit it.
AW: Pizza tonight? No cooking? That's all I got, lol.
I'm sorry Gastro. It's so hard to know when to go in and when to wait it out.
I have mostly vents too.
DH had a team dinner last night and got home late. He called on his way home to ask if I wanted him to stop and get me anything. I asked for chili cheese fries and a Diet Coke from this local place. He brought me a Mcflurry and Diet Coke from McDonald's. RAGE
I just dropped him off at his best friend's house where I'm pretty sure he's going to do nothing but brew/drink beer.
I have to go grocery shopping and i have an infusion later and I'm fucking tired because DD woke up at 4:50 and as I was still trying to get her back down at 5:30 DS woke up because she was yelling.
On the bright side, DD fell asleep on the way to drop DH off so I ran through Starbucks and I am sitting in the car with an iced coffee and lemon loaf. And listening to NPR

iI's warmer here today (low 40s!) except it's raining and incredibly windy. We will be staying inside. I think I am making myself a latte and eating cookies during nap time. I should sleep, but I doubt I will. Dd3 is the noisiest, sloppiest nurser every. Seriously, milk everywhere every time. And she gulps and slurps and spits. It's not very fun actually, but she's so happy when she finishes its adorable.
I just favorited your shop so I can find you if they make you take the link down. And I will definitely be ordering some snack bags. What size are they? ..I'm looking for reusable snack bags that are approximately the same size as a sandwich ziploc (I think that's about 6x6 inches)

Nevermind - I just read the item details and it looks like they are the size I'm looking for! Very jealous of your sewing talents now
I swear he's not usually such an idiot but come on! If he had gotten different chili fries, eh whatever. But ice cream? No. I'm having the period from hell, bring me what I asked for or don't even bother asking if I want anything!

Ha! Thank you. I like doing it. And, yes, they are a perfect substitute for regular Ziplock snack bags.

Thanks for listening to my whiny vents. I appreciate the kind thoughts.
*poof*
On a not-entirely-unrelated note, I submitted my application to try and go back to work in the fall. I'm feeling like something has to change around here, and SOON.

Aw- so excited, MIL and FIL took the kids for the weekend! & my friends are coming to visit. Games and good times to be had.
V-both kids started coughing a bit today. Why?! We called MIL and told her about it and she said it was fine. They were both playing and acting completely normal besides the cough. I'm still worried and paranoid our fun weekend will be cut short & of course, I don't want them sick at all. I also don't want them keeping MIL/FIL awake all night. Fingers crossed.
I'm sorry cheshirekat. That sounds awful. R: DD is obsessed with HGTV. She will watch any show on there. She is my child. AW: DS scored his first basket at his basketball game today. I am proud of how hard he has worked and how much he has improved this season. V: Divorce sucks...well actually what sucks is having to share custody of my kids with STBXH. DD cries every time she has to go with her dad. She says she doesn't like going there because he doesn't do anything but watch TV. He doesn't cook and makes her eat at restaurants she hates because he wants to go there. She "just feels better when she is with mommy". It absolutely breaks my heart to make her go to his house. She was with me for a while today. We had a really fun day but as soon as she realized it was almost time to go back she started crying. She cried all the way to his house and I had to leave her crying. I cried all the way home. It sucks!
