Aw she's just chilling and growing. She had her second eye appointment today and her eyes are developing as they should.
Next week she gets her two month shots since she's officially two months tomorrow. And the week after that she has her cardiologist visit. Vibes are appreciated for good news with the PDA.
As of Friday I can't tell her she's not supposed to be here because we're finally at her due date.
She's getting so big! I think she's probably close to 7.5 pounds. I weigh her while holding her and then weighing myself without her lol. She feels so much heavier and is slowly growing out of her newborn clothes.

For sure! I'm so glad to hear she's thriving! Growing out of newborn clothes! That is killer lol.

She already outgrew her adorable preemie outfits my MIL had bought her. At one time she was swimming in them, but now it's like "how were you this tiny?!".
2 months! She's doing amazing. Good thoughts for her next appointment (((hugs)))
Thank you! I keep being all teary today. She's 2 months. It doesn't seem like a lot but she's been through so much already. I love her so much. I have told her that like 10 times today. And then I joke that she's all "Stop being a sap Momma"
BB weighed in at 8lb 2.5oz and 19 3/4 inches. She got 4 vaccines and cried the biggest tears but quickly calmed down. She is also going to start meds for reflux since she will wake herself up with spit up like an hour after she feeds and is very uncomfortable and often cries (tears and all).
The highlight of the visit was her spitting up when the doctor walked in and the again when he pushed on her umbilical hernia. And as if that wasn't enough...she pooped during the exam. LOL my dainty little girl had stuff just pouring out.
She's getting so big ! Sorry about the shots . I still think those are more painful for the parents lol. I hope the medicine helps. DS had reflux when he was a baby, it was miserable...and so much laundry!
Both mine had reflux. I agree with the laundry. And I would wear something over me and down the back when I burped or put a blanket on the floor.
MH suggested we put a towel on the chair we sit on when we feed. Classy but beats buying new living room chairs?
We eat dinner while sitting on our respective couches. And we drape bath towels over the arms of the couches so when we inevitably spill it doesn't make a mess.
At least BB has an excuse. I've got 30+ years on her and I act the same way. (wilted)

I realized after I posted that we have a blanket over our couch so that when we eat sitting there and we spill, we just wash the blanket. We figured $30 for a blanket is better than the $1200 we spent on the couch. That blanket is never coming off now.
She does have another, different murmur caused by her anemia but the doctor wasn't concerned about it and said that it will/should resolve itself over the next 6+ months.
She's been home with us for 5 weeks today. Since birth she's gained 5lbs and grown 5 inches. People still say that she's tiny but she seems HUGE to me
Thanks for all the good vibes. She is doing so well and I know all the good energy sent her way is helping. <3

Oh, I am SO happy to hear that !! At this point, we should just start assigning BB tasks because she will totally nail them all lol. I'm sure you and H must feel like a huge weight has been lifted, I'm very happy for you guys.

Aw this made me tear up. She is so fierce, it's amazing. We are so relieved and hope that all is well moving forward. The only question that remains is if her brain bleed will have any impact but none of the doctors seemed concerned so we will try not to be either. Only time will tell with that.
