American Girl Melody Ellison release photos/info

Reese LOVES her. She definitely won't be a day one purchase---because hello, no AG dolls for random days of the year thing. She loves her much more than Lea. I also asked if Melody was naked would she still love her. Because she was all about the snazzy meet outfit-since blue and turquoise are her favorite colors. She still said yes.

Right now she has a doll without hair; "Super Reesie"; Mary Ellen and #58. (The AA doll with the springy curls that SHE LOVES!)

Melody will come our way as well.

I broke the rules and read the comments on the Huffington article posted on FB. People are such utter assholes.

Tip, don't read the comments on the official AG Facebook page, when the issue of diverse dolls come up. 
You may wind up calling out some assholes, according to my friend. 

I made that mistake last night.    what. the. fuck??!  I wasn't surprised by some of the BS earlier when people were talking about another white GOTY, but I was taken aback that there are people offended at the simple existence of a new doll of color.  There are some major assholes out there.

 

Anyhow, I showed melody to DD and now she wants her, too.  I told her she can get the mini doll when she's released and the full size doll for her eighth birthday.  That's not until Dec 2017, but this year she'll be getting Rebecca for her birthday.
