I wanted to do oceonagraphy but was intimidated by the physics requirements. Then I got into the world of work and became basically a bootleg geophysicist.
Ha! My BS is in physics, so that part didn't scare me. It's chemistry that is my nemesis. But I went for physical oceanography and only had to take a couple of chemistry-based courses. Environmental physics is much easier to handle than the rest of physics
PhD in Communication...which probably explains why DH and I can't manage to be on the same page about what kind of yogurt he's supposed to pick up at the grocery store. I can theorize the crap out of the situation but practical application tends to escape me at times. :-)
