We've got walnut stained hardwood floors throughout the dining and living room (which are open). I'm looking for a new dining table and having a little trouble deciding on color. If I go for a dark stained table, it seems like the room could be too dark. Would a light wood table on dark floors look strange? Lately I'm thinking about the attached table (white legs, light wood top). Thoughts?
Nurse Cramer had stopped speaking to Nurse Duckett, her best friend, because of her liaison with Yossarian, but still went everywhere with Nurse Duckett since Nurse Duckett was her best friend....Nurse Cramer was prepared to begin talking to Nurse Duckett again if she repented and apologized.
I have darker floors and a dark table ... if you have a rug to break it up, I don't think it's too dark. (I also have light upholstered chairs, which helps, too.)
I think I'm just not that big a fan of white painted wood, so that is coloring my opinion of the pic you posted.

Thanks everyone! I prefer dark wood as well but was worried about how it would look with two different stains. I like the idea of lightening it up with a rug and other decor. Plus it will be so much easier to find a table now.
