Target - "shipping not available" and "not sold in stores"

I was doing some Target online shopping and went to make an order, only to discover that a lot of what I want is not sold in stores and there's no shipping available. Does this mean it's sold out? If so, Why is it on the website?? Or do I need to go to a store and have them order it for me or something?

UGH I know what you mean! It drives me crazy! I have no idea why it's like that.

I think it means it's sold out online and sold out at your store, but there is a small chance it's available at another store which is why they still have it listed online.

I don't know - that's the biggest reason I stopped shopping at target.com - second biggest is that somehow my online account was hacked there and they tried to buy $200 in iTunes gift cards...
