(It was for an unsweetened ice tea, but I still feel shame.)
i used my CC for lunch today bc i forgot my debit card on my desk at work.. i JUST paid the card off yesterday..
We use our CC for everything and pay it off every month, so it's really not that big of a deal - but it was the sheer act of using a credit card on a vending machine...I was waiting for someone to walk in and think, "How many Twinkies is she buying???"
I decided to have a 24 hour pity party for myself yesterday. It felt good. The past 3 months have been horrible, but I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

BF thinks it is silly when I say I miss him when he is on a business trip. I think he thought I was just being whiny.
I had to work an event until 1 am on Saturday night and when I got home he said it was really odd getting into our bed without me there and that it made him miss me. I was secretly happy that he now knows what I mean and that I am not just being a whiner when he is gone. Worse (or Better?), I have my first business trip since we moved in together in a week and I can't wait for him to see what it's like to be in the house for three days alone. It's quiet!!
My dog took a shit this am and it was kind of soft and stuck to his butt hairs. I tried to clean him up but it wouldn't come all the way out of his white fur and I had to go to work.
He has a hair appointment on Saturday and I am debating just taking the scissors to that area when I get home in case he stinks.
Sometimes Biscuit's poo gets stuck coming out when he's chewed up a toy and ingested a lot of fibers. LOL
I got sunburned on Sunday at a community event. I totally forgot to put it on. Yesterday DS and I had a playdate at the beach and I got burned again. I put sunscreen on this time, but missed my whole right shoulder. It hurts and it sucks.

Yesterday, a guy at a gas station called me babe.
I think we need to get toilet locks. DD (who is 15 months), threw her pacifier in the toilet and I noticed it AS I WAS PEEING on it this am. I had to fish it out so that it wouldn't clog the pipes.
I really need to start working out. I have the mommy pooch.

I just had me job review and my boss teared up telling me how great I've been. Of course this would be even better if I meant I was going to get a raise but that is out of her hands.
I am determined to NOT be lazy for the next couple of months. I made a personal goal to not turn on the TV before my DH gets home from work for the next few months (I get home 1-2.5 hours before him), in an effort to be more productive. It makes me feel incredibly lazy that this may be difficult for me.
I have 6 weeks left of my MBA, and I just need to keep motivated to finish that out strong.

.............she says, while [gbc]nesting. lololol.
Lol.. yea, yea, but I'm at work now.. That doesn't count. ;D
It would help if the weather would make up its mind. In the morning it's rainy (I have mold allergies) and then in the afternoon it's sunny, then by evening it's raining again. I'm dying.
My students asked me to be in a video they were making as a class project. I cause a medical emergency with my presence. I am sure that I should be insulted, but I am a secretly proud they kind of think I am a hard-ass and also approachable enough to ask. I am probably reading too much into it and I was just around when they were doing the filming.
