ugh I am so tired. I couldn't fall asleep because my mind was all over the place. Then I watch shows that give me anxiety, so tat didn't help me either. 
anyone watch Quantico? Love it but sometimes my heat races watching it.

I had the best dream last night, not something that would ever come true, but it was fun in my dream.

My kids are home with me today and we were supposed to do something fun, but they are so tired that I think we will just stay home. They are always so wrecked when they come home from their dad's.

Thanks to the ML thread I bought some packing cubes and paid for overnight prime, so they will be here tomorrow. I fly out to Dallas on Thur for 11 days, and plan to use a carry on only.

I am going to the dr tonight, for like 3 different things. I don't know if she will have time to address all 3 concerns at once, but I am going to try.

This weekend flew by with BF's friends in town. Plus it was kind of a bummer sharing him with other people when I only have that time with him. But it was super fun, hopefully this week will go by quickly!

Thanks for asking! His parents did something for them, so they got 2 egg hunts and 2 baskets. I was happy they did something.

oh and I went to see my big fat greek wedding this weekend. cute movie but not as good as the first. then I saw a preview for Me Before You. I was bawling my eyes out. can't wait to see it. maybe I'll read the book as well

I get to ask our single faculty if they're bringing an guest to an event at the end of June. It's totally three months in advance, but we need to buy tickets in the next two weeks. NO PRESSURE DUDES.

Because I was uncomfortable going to an event that was very much for people with a significant other. I probably could have brought a friend but it wasn't worth it to me.

Aw man, our events aren't for couples. They may be there but there's no judgment for solo parties. But my office is big on how we're a family.

I'm seriously not trying to pressure them, but I don't want anyone to miss out on the tickets.

I really love working from home. Today we got a ton of calls done, went on an hour walk for our meeting, then my boss' partner made us an amazing lunch served on the deck. Now we are running our errands and later making enchiladas. I'm starting to really enjoy this fluidity of life and work.

I'm 50 minutes away from my first (of 8) workouts class with this new thing I'm trying. I failed at the first day of eating, but I had so much food leftover from Easter that I cannot let it go to waste. I made sure I didn't eat too much of the potatoes though. I'm hitting the grocery store right now to stock up on some foods/snacks that are on the "eat this" . I always hated programs that completely take a certain type of food out, and this is one. Good thing it's only for 2 weeks.

I usually go to our holiday parties. I think I have missed one in three years. I go on my own and still have a blast. If I waited to be dating someone to go, I would never go, considering that I have been single for almost 8 years. 

I had this same conversation with one of my work friends that didn't want to go because he is not dating anyone. I still have a blast but I do warn my coupled close co-workers to not be assholes.

We also have a formal dinner and dancing. I dance with my co-workers and some of my co-workers partners and I still manage to have a nice time. I guess because being single is my normal, I don't think about it that much?

I accepted an offer for a full time permanent job today. It's not amazing but it's better than making $1200 a month on Unemployment. I'll be starting in May and there's over time available. No more poors. Maybe I can be middle class again!

I whined over the weekend about the AWESOME idea DH came up with for renovating my greenhouse. The plastic panels it came with got brittle and cloudy and needed to be replaced. I wanted to replace them with similar panels. DH got an idea from somewhere that he could just use a heavy-duty plastic sheeting (to be fair, a lot of greenhouses use something like this). He wanted to fasten the plastic with wood strips, but was convinced to try Gorilla tape first. We spend 2 1/2 hours this afternoon trying to get the plastic in place and secured to the frame. For whatever reason, the tape would not stick to the plastic. I got just the slightest bit of glee when the way DH wanted to do it wasn't working, because he totally struck down any ideas I came up with. Part of me hopes the plastic flies away overnight, but a slightly bigger part of me wants to get my plants started, and I can't do that without my greenhouse.

I also haven't had a good night's sleep since I kicked out the xBF over 2 weeks ago. I'm EXHAUSTED but lay here with my eyes wide open. I hope this passes. I've been laying here for 2 hours already wondering if I should take some Benadryl to sleep. I'm just afraid to not wake up on time...

Big fat Moe cat decided to use the hallway carpet as a litter box. Gotta love pulling out the spotbot at 1030pm to clean up a cat mess. I rewarded myself with a chocolate fudge drumstick that I found in the freezer.
