Mine are walking, knitting and crochet, and reading.
I also love helping people in different ways. Mainly as a victim advocate for the PD here. (In fact, I'm on call today. So far, things have been quiet.)

54 and married 5 1/2 years. I have two sons on their 20's from my previous marriage and both live at home at this point. My younger one has Aspergers so that keeps me busy.
My hobbies include running. But our real passions are good food, great wine and lots of traveling. I started running in the past few years as a way to lose weight since dieting alone didn't seem to work. And with all the travel and eating we do I need to run to stay fit!
56 years old--approximately 18 months away from retirement Three grown sons and a delightful almost-9 granddaughter. My hobbies are clothes shopping, puttering in the garden, occasional jewelry making, traveling and just doing whatever the hell I want, when I want. I'm looking forward to retirement so I can work out when i want, hang out with my big family in Oregon and do lots of volunteer work.

I think I'm gonna love this board! I'm married 15 years, have two sons that we adopted from Russia in 2004 (they are 15 and 16 now), 2 Great Danes. I've worked for 17 years for the fundraising organization that supports a world renowned pediatric cancer hospital. Live in Memphis and like to travel, home projects, ride bikes, walk, read and watch my kids football and basketball games.
I had two total knee replacements about 4 years ago and need to get back to walking more often but have been kind of a slug since then. Was on The Knot many years ago and have mostly lurked on Married Life and Money Matters for about the last 15 years.

I'm 47. Married into a blended family.
A total of five adult children. Six grandchildren, #7 is due any day, #8 due in September.
I am presently living in a hotel because we had a chimney fire last Tuesday. Living in a hotel sucks.
I went outside last night and light up a joint like it was a cigarette and I don't give a fuck.
I turned into a stoner last year and I regret that it took me this long.
I want to quit my job once my grandbaby is born in September but DH said I really need to work until our house is paid off in the more years. I disagree. I mean, he can't literally force me to work, right?

59, but I was a late bloomer and have 18 & 19yo kids, one in college, one Army bound in August. I've been consumed by knitting the last few years, and I've just finished my second queen-size blanket. I knitted one for each of the boys. I also pot (pots, not pot. I make pots, I'm saying. I'm a potter.) but I've gotten away from that the last couple of years. And my house abuts a 2500 acre woods (the woods in "Over the river and through the woods" fame) so the dog and I spend a lot of time smelling and peeing on stuff in there. I retired a couple of years ago but do some volunteering a couple of days a week, and I've just embarked on a kitchen/bathroom renovation.
What a great new board this is going to be. I am 53, married, 2 kids 1 granddaughter who I love to death
I no longer work as am partially disabled, but do a lot of running around with my mother who is in LTC and is quite ill. I help out the older ladies in my building with errands when needed.
Love to read, just starting to learn to sew, and being an internet hog. The food network is my friend and try to try new recipes as much as possible. I indulge legally in the smoking of pot, and drink very little.
I have lurked for a long while and pipe in every now and then but I tend to kill threads so I just read a lot. Have a Mainecoon cat who is as quirky as they come.
52 married to 2nd H for almost 10 years have a 24 year old son and twins who will be 21 next month love to travel will retire from public education in 2 years live in the NE work in a bridal shop part time work for German Shepherd Rescue
I'm 46 and not married (living with SO). I have never been married.
I have a DS that just turned 21 on Monday. He lives at home and commutes to college. Depending on whether or not he gets into medical school first try, he will either be moving out next summer or summer of 2018. I will miss him .
I also have a 4 yr old Rat Terrier that is crazy.
My job keeps me busy and by the time I get home, make dinner and clean up I'm too tired to do anything productive. Lol Talk about old! I do enjoy reading and paper crafting.

48, married to H#3 since 2008. 2 kids, DS is 27, DD is 16. One grandkid that I've never seen. Hobbies are reading, interneting, gardening (although that interest tends to dissipate before it's actually time to harvest the veggies), baseball and football. DH and I do "pirating" events, which are like dressing up for Ren Faires, but as pirates. When friends ask what DH and do when we go pirating, I answer that we dress up, hang out with our friends, and drink a lot. I like to do crafting, but I tend to lost interest in a project before I'm actually done.
I'm 44. I got married for the first time at 37. No kids due to IF. We do have a golden retriever that we spoil rotten. Hobbies are travelling, hiking, and reading.

Yikes, I should have mentioned my family! Still in my first marriage to my wonderful husband. Two daughters both married, two grandsons, and another grandson on the way! Age 61. I'm a crazy cat lady with one big Maine Coon kitty.
Someone else mentioned they started on the Nest when their D was getting married. Me, too!

47, married, no kids, live in London (11-1/2 years, before that was in States), originally from NEPA.
I play field hockey as a goalie for a large co-ed hockey club, so I regularly hang out with kids who could be my kid. Keeps me feeling youngish as well as old at times. I love to cook, lift heavy weights (due to cooking love), read a boatload and I sometimes dabble in other things (thank you potential ADD).
The beast below is my baby. Barney was adopted at 2-1/2 and is currently an old at 9. He was abused so is an anxious lad but so loving and gentle once he gets to know you.

There's a reason I changed my name to WOT but I've been MrsBPO since about 2004. Maybe 2003. I can't remember when I was banned and had to change my name. I'll have to ask my other friends from Ohio who were also banned in The Great Nest Banning of (whatever year it was).
Married my Practice Hubby when I was 19.5 and got pregnant the first or second night (he left for 30 days on the third day) so we decided to follow up with 3 more kids because I was young and stupid. 3 of my 4 kids have given me a total of 6 pretty great grandkids. I'm known as Gigi (GG for "great grandma" as in "you're not just a grandma, you're a GREAT grandma" courtesy of GD1 a few years ago.) In no hurry for #4 to add to the litter.
Been with "Real DH" for 21 years now and married for 10.
Hobbies are volunteering, shopping (for anything, really), reading, internetting, wishing I was travelling and apparently losing my goddamn cell phone.

I'm 46 soon to be 47. Got married later than most at 39 to my awesome DH. Had our one and only DS two months before my 42 birthday. He is going to be 5 next week.
I love to shop, but since I'm now old and not as thin as I was, it hasn't been as much fun. So now I spend all my money on makeup. I post mostly over on the makeup board these days.
I like to read, though I haven't been lately. Like a lot of people I started to color, and am really enjoying that.
I am 49. Been married since 1992. H and I couldn't have children and we adopted 3 girls through foster care. The youngest 2 are birth siblings and are 15 and 14. They were placed with us in 2002 but we adopted them in 2003 for our oldest daughter and 2004 for our younger daughters. Our older daughter is married and I have 2 grandchildren. She ran away at 17 and in our state we couldn't have her brought back. She still keeps in contact somewhat, mostly through facebook. I did go to her wedding. She was 12 when we adopted her.
I am 100 lbs overweight and have been back to WW since January and have lost 31lbs. I walk for exercise. I love to read and hang out with my girls. I work 2 jobs because my H wont keep a job. Long story for another time. Just bought a my house last year in August. It is on a beautiful lot with a view of a park with a lake behind the house.
We also have a lab/husky mix dog named Jade and two spoiled cats name Rascal and Kitty. Both are tuxedo cats and a typical sibling even though technically they are not.
I'm 45, no kids, left my husband in the summer of 2014 after 13 years together, married for 9 years (verbally and emotionally abusive). Going through a divorce and the sale of our house right now.
I was a private equity lawyer in private practice for 22 years (last 11 years with a UK firm) and have moved in-house last year.
I have met a new man two months ago and I'm enjoying this relationship. I have the libido of a 16 year old boy.
I have no children, no pets, a great passion for everything Italian.
Love to read, listen to music, go to concerts, see movies. Passion for good food and wine, sport cars, a good dance party and my two nephews.
Oh, I am from Belgium and live in Brussels. Somehow found The Knot around 2000, the "other place" a bit later and then moved to here during the Great Transition.
I hope you don't mind if an old lady from MM joins you
I'm 62, was married for 28 years to the love of my life who passed away 10 years ago. I have a son who is married with 2 beautiful children one of which has special needs.
I love to spend time with my grandchildren, read, go to the movies as often as possible and GBCN
I've been employed at the same place for almost 39 years and plan to retire in about 4 years.
I'm almost 43, married 19 years, no kids, 2 cats who adore me. Hobbies? Eating, drinking, golfing, traveling, watching Bravo. My H travels most weeks for work, so I generally see him on the weekends. I'm an Accounting Manager and just hit the 10-year mark with my current employer. Hello, more vaca time...

51 and no natural kids, but my SDs both keep in touch, and one introduces me as her mom. She has provided me with a beautiful grandbaby and lots of granddogs.
I have a pug and a cat, I'm a full-time student, have a part-time job and a serious BF. We won't talk about him here, he is not qualified for the Olds board.
Hobbies are few and far between these days because I have no free time, but I like to refurbish furniture, redecorate my house, cook, walk, and read.

I didn't know you had a pug. I love them. Their little pug noses are so cute!
Here is her picture from the adoption site. So damn cute, I couldn't resist.
I'm 49 and a half, got married late at 42, moved to Australia. I have two step-kids that are 22 and 20. Thankfully I am not yet married to a Grandpa. I don't think I'll deal with that very well.
I used to have a career and then I moved here. Now I do contract work preparing taxes (kind of an H&R Block type place). My husband works overseas, so I'm taking the odd class here and there, working when I can and spend most of the time taking care of the house/property (live in a rain forest) and taking care of the two mongrels
I am 46 with a 22 month old adopted daughter (promise not to talk about her here). Married the first time at 34, widowed 6 months later. Married the second time at 38..still happily married. We lost all three of our pets in the last year. I own my own business which occupies most of my time. I also enjoy walking, sewing and hanging out with my DH.
