I had a life-altering one from Tupelo Honey Cafe recently. It had green tomato chow-chow, pimento cheese, fried green tomato & bacon. It.was.glorious.
I tried to easily recreate using store bought chow-chow & pimento cheese & it wasn't as awesome.
Though, pimento cheese is a new topping favorite. And I'm totally going to can my own green tomato chow chow this year!
At my usual hamburger place, I do jalapenos, mushroom, hot pepper relish and cheese. If we are talking lamb burgers then I love tzakiki, tomatoes,red onions & feta.
Gah. All I've wanted for weeks now is a oh so bad for you turkey burger but there is no where close that I like. Maybe if I'm feeling adventurous, I'll make my own this weekend.
Gouda, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, and bbq sauce Blue cheese, sauteed mushrooms, french fried onions, and a little A1 sauce
There is a burger restaurant in town that I like, but it can be hit or miss. When it's on point, I love this one: Angus beef, Emmi Roth buttermilk bleu cheese, caramelized onions, soy truffle vinaigrette, frisée, pickled shallots, and red wine jam
I like grilled onions, cheddar or Swiss, sometimes lettuce, mayo and definitely bacon. I do like mushrooms too.
I do like a fried egg though I don't have it often. I've also liked having green chiles or sundried tomato aioli. I would probably like guacamole or a chipotle sauce.
I'm a bit adventurous when I go to a cool burger place, I will try unusual things. Good cheese and good bacon are my basic must-haves though. Without those at a cook out, I'll just eat it plain or get a plain hot dog.
Oh God, I went on a cheeseburger kick while I was pregnant (my run ended tragically when I was dx'ed with gestational diabetes) but I am back on the train now.
Provolone, cheddar, bleu cheese, swiss, avocado, roasted red peppers, sautéed onions, bacon, barbecue sauce, ketchup, mustard, pickles, pesto, chili sauce, aiolis of various flavors... not all at once of course. There are just so many options.

There's a brew pub a couple hours away from me that I always go to when I drive through the town. It has gorgonzola cheese, bacon, sautéed mushrooms, blue cheese dressing and onions on it that is to die for. Maybe literally, with all that cholesterol, lol.
Gouda and avocado with a chipolte mayo... may hap some pickled purple cabbage or fridge dill pickles. My flavors may differ due to it being a veg burger.
