Ok, I finally watched it! Holy crap they smashed so much into the episode. I am not a book purist, but I wonder if it's making much sense to non book readers.
I love Murtaugh. I was right there with him when he tried to pull his sword on Sandringham, and I actually flipped off the tv and yelled when he was making that face at Claire right at the end. Bastard!!
OMG BPC sucks SO bad. I just don't get all the God says my father should be King stuff. Seriously, why didn't anybody slit his throat?
Louise is awesome. I loved her in the book as well, and she's exactly how I pictured her.
On the BPC stuff the Stuarts were hard core divine right believers it led them into the English Civil War and played into James II being kicked out for W&M who were not so hard core and were willing to concede the point which led to the Hanoverians when they had no heirs after Anne except the divine right believing half brother. So it's very accurate that BCP Is expressing that view as dumb as it sounds. Remember Louis XVI will loose his head over the divine right issue in about 40 yrs, and Tsar Nicholas II in 75 or so.
This season they will be doing an episode by episode style recap...it's amazing to see how much detail there is in all of the costumes, not just the principle actors.
