Try Sephora's Outrageous Volume mascara. I love it for how thick it makes my lashes look.

Try Sephora's Outrageous Volume mascara. I love it for how thick it makes my lashes look.

I get sticky. My face sweats so bad because of the humidity. Taking out the liquid step will hopefully help.

I hear ya. I live in Texas. So far I'm sticking with my Becca Aqua Luminous or my Nars tinted moisturizer but I might be singing a different tune in a month or so.

We moved yesterday (temporary until our house if finished) and I'm still unpacking. It was a challenge to find my makeup this morning. I especially needed my concealer as I'm so exhausted my undereyes are so bad.

I use it at least once a week. Even if you're just incorporating a bright into a fairly neutral color. Makes great duo colorsl

Hey -- what's the consensus on the new Tarte gel foundation? Coverage? Longevity?

loonylunalovegood -- everything! The only thing I *don't* like from Tarte is their eyeshadow. It's probably my favorite brand. Their mascara is my favorite -- Lights Camera Flashes and Lights Camera Lashes. I love their foundation -- the 12 hour BB cream is really just a light coverage foundation and the full coverage Amazonia clay is very good. Their powder blushes are amazing. I have the Park Avenue Princess contour palette, and I love it (the bronzer is to dark for me, but otherwise it would be the only highlight and bronzer I'd need).

I have pretty oily skin and lots of foundations do not work for me, so keep that in mind. I tried this foundation when it first came out and the coverage was fantastic, it looked amazing on my skin when first applied. By about 1 or 2 in the afternoon it would really start looking patchy and wearing away weird in my tzone and by 5 it was completely gone from my nose and chin. I tried 3 or 4 times with different primers and setting powders with no luck and had to return.

I purchased the 7pc kit from Tarte a couple of weeks ago. I've been using the products. I don't like the blush I got in Tipsy or the blush brush. I think I like the gel foundation. The eye pencil is fine, and I'm meh about the lippy. The mascara seems good, but I've had to be careful not to stab my eye with #2 side of the brush! How is everyone else liking their stuff?

DarcyLongfellow, the RT one is an acceptable sub. I like the BB, but it's not worth going out of your way.

Plus, RT is cheaper.

pacifica coconut eye shadow trio - looks great for overnight trips
epice hydrating mask
smashbox x-rated mascara - again, great for my travel bag
another eye shadow brush. i swear i get one once a month.

except for the brush it all looks great. my last review i said i wanted to try more facial masks and products so they nailed that, just kept a brush in there too. it feels like a super bonus that i got three sheet masks as one item though! plus the bag is cute, a different design for them - foldover flap like an envelope that snaps instead of a zipper top.



ETA:  i went to read the reviews of the products on the ipsy site and one girl says that she loves that the eyeshadow is "gluten free".  LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL  it's cruelty free, ha!

I would definitely email them.  I've had good experiences with their customer service.  Also...why not just return the full size shimmer and get the matte so you have one of each like you wanted (though with the sizes reversed)?

I was really enjoying not having much in the way of makeup needs at the moment.  More specifically my wallet was enjoying it.  But then a random sunscreen caused my entire neck to turn red and itchy so I went back to my amazon cart that had a japanese sunscreen sitting in it...and then I went into the thread again to check something else and....now I've got 20 tabs open on my browser.

which one do yo have?  The watery essence one?  or one of the ones with milk in thename?  (the names all have too many words.  It annoys me)
