We have dss this weekend, and I'm thinking he's too young for it. He's 8 yo. I think we're going to have to wait until next weekend. But I just read an outstanding review. I can't wait!
Probably sometime during the week next week. We haven't seen Age of Ultron yet but it's airing on Sunday and Monday, so we'll record and watch that, then later in the week see Civil War.

DS is taking DH for DH's birthday - maybe tomorrow afternoon. They talked about going on Sunday and that's not going to do it for me... but I will see it with them.
I saw it last week and I have been dyyyyying to talk about it
I saw it last night. My H loves those movies. I've never seen the other ones, so I didn't follow some of it. I was also exhausted & in pain, so I'm not one to discuss what happened anyway!

I'm taking my 4 year old son this weekend. But, I'm a bad parent in that he watched Iron Man nightly when he was 2, and that was the only way we could get him to sleep. There's just a big difference, to me, in super hero/sci-fi violence, than what's in a regular PG-13 movie. Common Sense Media did a great write up on it, and why it has that rating.

Honestly, there's only really one scene towards the end that is really brutal. I talked my 7 y/o out of going because it's really long.

If we're thinking about the same scene, it's like true violence and not the "regular" superhero violence too. I can imagine that would be rough for a 4 year old.
My 5.5 year old and I went to see it this morning and we're going as a family again on Sunday for Mother's Day (I am huge Marvel fan and Cap is my fave). She's seen all the other movies though, so I didn't think it was too different from those. We saw Age of Ultron last year when she was 4 and she loves that movie (she's a big Scarlet Witch fan). She liked it and didn't think it was scary. Actually I was more concerned about previews since a few were kind of scary so I distracted her during those.
Despite the look on my face I was excited and we both had our shield shirts on. It's just hard to balance a 5.5 year old on your legs for a selfie and still take a pic!
We are planning on seeing it soon. Maybe I will get on fandango tonight and get tickets for Sunday morning with our GC that we got for x-mas. Or maybe wait til next weekend. Related note - Marvel-wise - Deadpool is coming out on VIDEO in the next week!!!!
