When you bought a house was it on one of these real estate sites? Or are there more houses that are "secret"? I want the answer to be that there are way more than what I see

If it's put on the MLS, it'll be on those sites. I know zillow is often a little behind some of the other ones. Portland's an incredibly competitive market, and houses are often pending sale before zillow gets them up. A good place to look is NY's multiple listing service website (I'm assuming they have one). They often look and operate like a government website, so not pretty, and kind of clunky, but they'll have all the listings.
Zillow is super slow to update. There were tons of houses that appeared to be available but were under contract already. We used Redfin if you have it? Its updated in almost real time of new listings and when things drop in price or go under contract. If its in your area, I would definitely check it out
We worked with a buyer's agent and we had a special log in to see MLS listings, but most MLS listings are on Zillow, Trulia. Redfinand realtor.com. I've found that new construction yet to be built is usually on realtor.com and not on Zillow or Trulia. Like others I found ( and find) Zillow to be inaccurate in it's listing and it's home value algorithm.
Ditto Redfin though I use the desktop site, not the app. I sometimes see a few on Zillow and not Redfin but more often see things first on Redfin and later Zillow.
That house is adorable! It's not in queens right?! I assume not since it's too cheap lol
No, it's in Chatham, NJ. Which is where our geneticist thinks we should move because of some amazing school program. It's a cute town and mostly all the houses are walking distance to town and train, which is great. But the houses are old, small and expensive.
Buy this instead TrudyCampbell It's in the best school district in town and walking distance to the best elementary in the district. The pics actually don't do it justice- I've been in it during the parade of homes!
How many square feet is that TrudyCampbell ? It's weird I'm not seeing it I see it lists the lot as 4k square feet but not the house?
3 bed is ok and it looks nice! 4k is a small lot but then to you it will seem big because you have not had a lot/garden before ?
I don't see the square footage on that one. Actually a small lot is a huge plus for us! We really don't even want a house or a yard because of the maintenance so a tiny yard is totally fine with us. As long as it has enough for a small patio area and room for like a little play house for the kids and a little room to run around, I'm good!
I love it too. I'll just put a large addition on the back . I don't have money for any of this, just dreaming!
lol yeah I do that too. I like to look at old houses that are small and outdated and dirty and dream about how I'm going to make them over like an HGTV show.
Yea, does anyone happen to know the property brothers? Please text them my info.
