Someone cut our roses off our rose bush. I'm furious. Allie planted the bush after watching H and I plant the other three. It's been her job to water all four bushes. This is the only bush blooming and thriving. She thought she had some magical green thumb. Who the fuck cuts flowers off someone's plant? Why did the just walk in my yard?
Not usually. He was giving me an update that his barber was closed so he's going to HD to get stuff to weed the front garden. Then he called to tell me HD was giving away hot dogs (I don't eat hot dogs). so well meaning, and I am grateful that he is taking care of the outside stuff, but unnecessary.
This is my H, constantly. If he goes somewhere and I stay home I get about eleventy billion phine calls. Then he can't understand why I get so irritated about it.
Yesterday, I was awarded staff of the month. Awesome.
THEN a student who thought he was going to have to take classes over the summer and graduate in August finished all of his credit retrieval courses that my AP and I signed him up for three days ago. So he caught up and will be walking on June 8.
My AP was talking to him about this whole experience and he was so overwhelmed with joy. He looked up at us and said "My mom is going to be so proud. I'm just so happy I could make her proud. I'm the first in my family to graduate from high school." And he broke down sobbing. AND THEN I started crying. Lol. He gave us like a million hugs and thanked us probably 100 times. I love my job. It was a great start to my weekend.
I want to like this a hundred times. That's amazing.

This made me cry and I have heart of rusty old iron!
Hangover this morning. Also, I found a cell phone in the backseat of an uber, so we went to the bar he had just dropped them off at, and I ran in and found them. It was a couple and she was such a bitch, not even grateful. The guy bought me a wine. THEN I left my own phone in an uber coming home later, LOL. I called the driver and he actually brought it to me today, so I gave h im $40.
We have a family wedding tonight, a baby shower for H's coworker tomorrow (it's at a nice hotel for tea, so should be fun) and then my nieces dance recital. Bleh
We are at a minor league baseball game. Alex keeps calling the Blue Jays mascot the Philkie Phanatic and its so freaking funny. At this point it's like she is unknowingly taunting him. "Hey Phillie Phanstic!!!" And she keeps giving her/us looks. It's cracking me up.
Weather is amazing though. Slight breeze. Are amazing Mexican for dinner. Good day.

He's the third one we were able to help catch up this week, too! But he was the first one I had the honor to tell he had made it.
My sister is an enabler and we ended up buying so much stuff today! We went to Destination Maternity to buy a dress for my shower. Ended up getting a dress for the shower, plus shorts, light weight pants, dresses, a couple of tees. I was hoping not to buy any more clothes for myself this pregnancy, but a couple 80+ degree days, and today it's 91, and I caved and bought a ton of summer clothes. I'm so excited to have more light weight options now it's getting hot, and I know it will make me more comfortable, so I'm ok with it, but I definitely wouldn't have bought nearly as much without her there. Plus we went to DSW and found me 2 pairs of comfy and fairly supportive sandals.
Now we getting to grill. And then watch Pitch Perfect 2. Such a great Saturday!
I think we spent a total of ten minutes in the house all day, that's how busy we were. Swim lessons, breakfast at our usual Saturday pancake house, park playdate with DS 2's BFF, Target, aquarium store to procure an algae eater for DS 1's fish tank (we named him Algy because I like puns), Angry Birds movie, shopping for some new summer clothes for me, dinner at the boys' favorite restaurant, then home.
OMG, I sort of don't want to leave the house again all weekend, but I promised the boys that we'd go strawberry picking tomorrow morning.

Went to a family birthday dinner for my cousin and was lectured about my weight loss. Wtf before I was too big and now they're saying I'm getting too small. And when I said I wanted to lose another 20 pounds the look of horror on their faces was just ridiculous. It's perfectly within what is considered a healthy weight for my height. I'm super active now and I'm barely starting to like myself but I just can't win with them.
I survived sofia's birthday party. I am absolutely exhausted, though. We had 10 kids in total, plus adults. Then I started thinking about this woman I know who has 10 kids and that this is her life every. day. It blows my mind.
I'm so stressed out. My husband has been talking about wanting to invite people over tomorrow and I keep shooting it down because we're in the middle of house projects (like today we started demo on our ugly 70's stone fireplace) and the house is an absolute disaster. There's chunks of stone and tile all over the living room, foyer, and hallway. We ripped up the living room carpet and there's still tack strips on the concrete subfloor. Guess who just invited people over for tomorrow? And now he's talking about wanting to invite our neighbors and their young kids over tomorrow. Why the fuck would we invite people over (especially kids!! Especially people who have never seen inside our home!!) when our house is literally a dangerous place to be in? His excuse is that he's wanting to do outdoor stuff. Uh I'm pretty sure they still would end up needing to go inside for various reasons!! Now I'm the bad guy for telling him hell no and to uninvite the people.
