curtains, that's so great to hear! peachykate, I fully support that idea. What a jerk face. MixedBerryJam, that looks great!
DS wants to go outside. And he's whining about something in the kitchen. I'm not feeding him again until lunch. He's already eaten a whole egg, waffle, two strawberries, a soft fruit bar, and a pouch. I need to get us dressed and go do something.
We really need to clean out the shed today so we can start using it for storage. Our enclosed porch is filled with random baby crap and other stuff that needs to be stored.
Jax's friend started crying and we couldn't talk him into coming over. He's super bummed but luckily his bff can come over instead. He always says, "mom she's not my best friend, she's my girlfriend.". Duh mom. Man, I hope we can find some more friends for this kid once school starts next year.
I am stuffed from my peanut butter smoothie. Ugh. Hopefully I don't barf in my class this morning. I am trying lagree fitness for the first time (kind of like reformer Pilates on steroids) and am excited.
We have a bday party this afternoon and otherwise are just relaxing. It's gorgeous so we'll prob be outside a lot.
We're in Palm Springs for this getaway thing H's company does every year. Its supposed to be 113° today, the hottest it will be in the next two weeks. I foresee spending most of the day in the air conditioned hotel room.
It's awesome!! High calorie, but it keeps me totally full from breakfast to lunch. Blend the following:
1 cup coconut milk (the drinking kind, like Silk, not from the can) or cows milk 2 TB natural PB 1 TB honey 2 scoops vanilla protein powder Several handfuls fresh kale (or spinach if you prefer) 5 ice cubes Sprinkle of salt
It's honestly SO delicious.
This looks amazing. Does it turn green from the kale?
My H took ds to the drive in last night and stayed and watched two movies. They were got home at 11:45, my H seems to think that if ds stays up late he will "sleep in". I told my H it doesn't work that way. So guess who woke up at 7 am, yup ds and my H is grumpy. *insert eye roll emoji*
I am going to have breakfast then head back to bed and sleep for a bit longer. I think we are cleaning this weekend and starting to pack.
Who are these magic children who have given people the impression that's how it works? Mine also just turns into a monster the next day because she's still up at 7 no matter what.
Unless it's a daycare day. Then I need to wake her up even if she happened to go to bed early
